Chapter 22 – Thanksgiving Week
When the ride was over and they were getting their belongings out of their locker, the guide suggested that they might want to go to the Three Brooms and have a butterbeer or a pumpkin juice. The architecture and building of this restaurant was truly a work of art. The pumpkin juice was a bit sweet – apple juice flavored with pumpkin and nutmeg. The butterbeer was non-alcoholic and was cream soda with a buttery whipped cream on top. It was sweet also. They decided to leave with a bottle of water. Angie, Suzanne, Daniel and John David wanted to ride the rollercoaster “Flight of the Hippogriff”. Bette told them to go ahead, they would wander around the town and see the shops and other attractions of Hogsmeade. Mary commented that she had never seen anything like replica of a wizarding village. The buildings were just like they were in the books. Margaret said they were just like they were in the movies.
The kids were back in about 30 minutes as the ride was rather short. The guild suggested that they get on their tram and get on with the rest of their day. From Hogsmeade, they went to cartoon area and went to the Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and then to Secret Life of Pets: Off Leash. After that they headed for Jurassic World and rode the ride. The guide made sure that they sat in seats which they would not get wet since the day was nice but not warm enough to get their clothes wet. But before they went, The Simpsons Ride which was another rollercoaster, they all went on that too. Bette worried about Mary and Margaret but they both got off and were fine. Laughing at the surprises that they saw. Tina reassured Bette that they were fine. And so the day went on.
After Jurassic World, they went to the Transformers: The 3D Ride. Daniel and John David thought it was amazing. They then went to Moe’s for lunch and ate a variety of Tex-Mex food. Mary thought it was extremely good. Bette invited their guide to have lunch with them. It was there that the guide advised that Mary and Margaret perhaps should not ride the Revenge of the Mummy since there were a lot of sudden stops and reverse actions which was not good for backs. If there was a ride in which there might be an injury, that might be the one. Bette and Tina decided that would skip that ride as well. But the kids decided they had to experience this, so they finished their lunch and went to ride it.

Great solution for helping Suzanne. I also like the various positive ways for her to repay the loan. Maybe 10 years down the road as she repays the loan it gets distributed again. When she has paid it off they can tell her the truth and they all can create an on going scholarship for deserving Yalie with B & T millions!!!!
So, get writing those 10+ years.
Thanks, I love your work!
You do realize that Suzanne’s solution originated with the investigation of Melvin Porter? Its one of the things that I admire about Bette. She absorbs the nuggets of wisdom which appear from various sources. I do like the fact that Bette and Tina want to help Suzanne but do not want Suzanne to be aware of where this help is coming from. And with this solution, neither Angie nor Suzanne will be in a position of being obligated to the other. If for some reason, their friendship sours, Suzanne will keep her support. And if anything should happen that Bette and Tina do not survive until Suzanne finishes her education, the money will still be there to assist her.
I like Suzanne as a friend for Angie… I like that she has red hair and is studious like Angie and perhaps a little more so. Do not look for any romance ever between Angie and Suzanne… that is just not in the cards and it would be a disaster for both of them.
Thank you for reading and commenting… I appreciate you pointing out Suzanne’s solution.
