Bette had come out of the bathroom and proceeded to put on her swim suit and jogging suit.

Bette:  So, what did you say?

Tina:  I told her that was a generous gift to Suzanne but she needed to be cautious as to how much help she gave Suzanne in the future. Suzanne needed to make her own path and she did not want for her to be dependent on her.  She wants to be friends because of who she is, not what she can do for Suzanne. So, watch herself and make sure that Suzanne doesn’t take advantage of Angie’s generosity. She understood and thank me for the advice.

Bette:  Do I need to say anything?

Tina:  No, I don’t think so. Angie was pretty clear that she knew that Suzanne could not use her as resource for funds and that was not a good basis for a friendship. That does not mean that occasionally, she couldn’t help Suzanne out. But this should be only occasional or for a good reason.

Bette:  Then I think that is just something we need to keep an eye on.  Even though there is not much we can do about it other than limit her funds.  And I do not want to do that unless she is buying weddings for folks…

Tina: I believe she’ll think about it and she will watch the situation. Particularly since she now knows we are both aware of it.

Bette: Come on sweetie, let’s go get wet.

Tina: Don’t tempt me sweetie.

Bette laughed a good belly laugh as she picked up the laundry and headed down the stairs. Today they started the coffee pot and headed out the door and quickly undress to their suits and quickly got into the pool. Bette and Tina were swimming side by side in a rather leisurely manner when Mary came out and saw both of them in the pool. She too quickly got into the pool as the outside air was cool and the water was toasty warm in comparison. Soon they were all making their laps across the pool. After about 20 minutes, Mary felt she had had enough. She was not accustomed to exercising that much and so she would need to work up her stamina. She got out and said she was headed to the bath in the media room. Bette and Tina got out about 10 minutes later and did their quick-change routine into their jogging suits. They dressed faster today as there was a risk that Mary would catch them.  Once they both were dressed, they were giggling at the thought of Bette’s mom catching them naked and ogling each other.
