    Chapter 32 – More Packing

Tina:  Sometimes I use a little jell to put it into place. But even that only takes a couple of minutes. I’m liking the convenience of my hair.

Bette: Well, after Paris’s wedding, I might just have mine cut that short. It makes you look so young. So “devil may care”.  I just love it.

Tina:  Well, thank you Bette. But I think you just love me and it wouldn’t matter what my hair looked like; you would love it anyway.

Bette: You may have a point. But I do like it lot.

Tina:  I know. As much attention as you give my hair, we are going to have to get up earlier this fall, or you are going to be late getting Daniel to school.

Bette:  How soon before he starts to drive?

Tina (laughed):  Five and one-half years from now, Bette. Don’t be wishing his childhood away. It’s going to go fast enough. And he is going to be an entirely different experience than Angie.

Bette:  I know. I’ll be fine. Just have to exercise a little more self-control when it comes to your hair.

Tina:  Come on, lets’ have some tea.

They went to the kitchen and had some tea. Put the sheets into the washer with the rest of the clothes. They were laughing and talking about what they could do on Thursday and Friday which would be enjoyable for the family. Tina suggested a stroll through the park and a picnic lunch on large green space. They might pick up a Frisbee for the kids to throw around and then come home for a nap have a snack and then to the theater, and a late dinner. Hopefully while they were gone, the charity would have come by and picked up their donations.

For Friday, they would go to a museum and then have lunch and then do something else and then go to an early dinner and then have an early night. Tina decided that they should go to the Metropolitan Art Museum instead of the Museum of Natural History. Mary, Tina and Bette were all into art and it had been a year or two since they had been. Angie had been a big fan of the Natural History Museum. But she did love the Metropolitan as well. Daniel had been a big fan of the Natural History Museum, but he would be fine with the Metropolitan.
