Bette also made reservations for Thursday night at her favorite French Restaurant for after the theater. She wanted to go to an Italian Restaurant on Friday.

Tina was really pleased with how well the week had gone. They had finished what they wanted to do as far as packing went. Bette mentioned that they would be saving a substantial amount of money packing as they did. The movers would need less supplies, less labor and less time. They had already estimated that the place would take two vans. The baby grand piano and the china cabinets were their biggest concerns. But they were leaving the mattresses. Bette reminded Tina that September was going to be rather busy. But they should be in their new home by the end of September and have their new furnishings by the mid November.

They folded the first load of clothes and put the 2^nd load into the dryer. And then they went to proceed to dress and get ready for the dinner. Bette wore a dark blue suit with a light blue blouse. Tina wore a black suit with a beige blouse.  She and Tina in their power suits looked like Wall Street lawyers. Both strikingly attractive and confident. Angie wore a pair of black slacks and a pink blouse. Daniel wore gray slacks and a black shirt with a black silk tie. He looked so much older than his age. It was the way he stood. He stood very erect and looked people in the eye when he met them. Neither Bette nor Tina knew where he got that from, but it made him a very attractive young man.

The car came at exactly 6:30. Marilyn was waiting for them. She was overjoyed to meet Mary and greeted Daniel like he was her long-lost grandchild. She hugged Angie and told her how wonderful she looked and then hugged Tina and Bette. She immediately engaged Mary into a conversation about life in Phoenix or at least nearby.

They arrived at Empire Steakhouse and were immediately shown to their table. Marilyn insisted that they have cocktails and appetizers. Bette and Tina decided to share an appetizer since they knew the main entrée were generous and would probably be beef. Daniel was thrilled with his food.
