Bette and Daniel came into the kitchen together. They both look wide awake and alert and ready for the day to come. Daniel had his backpack with him and was carrying the laundry from his room and from the room John David had used Saturday night.

Daniel went over and kissed Tina on the cheek and said good morning.

Tina: Wow…. Someone had a good night’s sleep. You’re being rather sweet this morning. What’s going on?

Daniel: It’s Monday, and I had a fantastic weekend. And I have the greatest family in the world.

Bette:  Well, that is nice to hear. Tina, can I pour you some coffee?

Tina:  Yes, please. You guys get to the table. The food is about to be served.

Bette: Smells good. Daniel did you sleep okay?

Daniel: Yeah, I slept well. I didn’t realize how tired I was until we were riding home. But I was full and comfortable and I just fell asleep. Was I rude to John David doing that?

Tina:  Well, he fell asleep too. So no, it’s not rude.

Bette: You know we really enjoyed going to Disneyland with you and John David. We had a lot of fun. We did a lot of different things.

Tina:  Yeah, the park has changed a lot since we went those many decades ago. We’ll have to do that again sometime.

Daniel:  It was great and there was a bunch of stuff we didn’t get do. But I think we did do all the good stuff. Some of it was fun, but kind of dumb. You know like that Finding Nemo submarine cruise?  You could see the top of the water so you know we weren’t truly submerged.

Bette:  Well, now we have all done that, we can use our time to do something else. Now I loved that Star Wars’ transporter. Now that was fun. And touring The Falcon?  That was great too.

Tina: I enjoyed that 360-degree surround theatre. That was amazing. I really felt I was a part of the show – that I was right there in that place which was on the screen.

Daniel: Next time we need to go on the Runaway Train in Frontier Land.

Bette: Well, it’s going to be a while before we go back to Disneyland. There are a lot of other things we want to do before we start to recycle our adventures.
