    Alice frowns at her.

    Bette shakes her head and looks away.

    (Alice) Did you go home together after dinner?

    (Bette shrugs) Yes

    Alice continues looking at her and Bette laughs.

    (Bette) I don’t know why you’re looking at me like that, this is hardly an unusual arrangement for me

    (Alice) Oh I know, you’re the queen of the casual arrangement. They’re usually instigated by you though, not them

    Bette frowns.

    (Bette) What difference does it make? If we’re both happy with the arrangement then what does it matter whose idea it was?

    (Alice) You’re right, it wouldn’t. But you showed up at her work Porter

    Bette sighs and has a sip of wine.

    (Alice) I’ve never known you to go to such lengths to secure some casual sex. Not to mention cancelling your plans to spend time with her

    Alice laughs and shakes her head.

    (Alice) That is not casual arrangement behaviour

    (Bette) Can we talk about something else please?

    Shane raises her eyebrows as she picks up her beer.

    (Shane) Good idea

    Alice looks back to Bette.

    (Alice) Who initiated seeing each other tomorrow night?

    Shane rubs her forehead and Dana frowns.

    (Dana) Al, seriously

    (Shane) Really Al, would you leave it?

    (Alice) Last question, I promise

    Bette looks at Alice for a moment.

    (Bette) She did

    (Alice smiles) Well OK then, she’s not really demonstrating casual arrangement behaviour either. That’s something at least

    They all look at Alice and she frowns and glances around the table.

    (Alice) What? Jesus, let’s move on already

    They all sigh and Dana looks to Shane and Alice.

    (Dana) Well what should we do tomorrow night then?

    (Alice sighs) I don’t know. This outdoor gig sounds kind of fun

    Bette raises her index finger.

    (Bette) No

    They all smile as they have a sip of their drinks.


    Saturday evening, Tina and Bette arrive together to the event. Tina pulls into the carpark and they make their way towards the stage, carrying with them a picnic blanket and various snacks they each have brought. They chat away to each other as they walk.

    (Bette) Do you do this sort of thing a lot?

    (Tina) Live music?

    3. Jubilate- Chapter 4 and Episode 9 on the same day. Loved Shane enthusing about cheap drinks, then Alice picking on Bette for bailing on fine dining in favour of same. Ha

    4. There’s sooo much these two have in common. They’re both alphas that have been use to having their way. But the problem is . . . They’re now attracted to each other!! Both of them interested . . .

    6. Its so obvious these two are attracted to each other. It will come down to a war of wills. Bette will give in first. I just hope Tina does not hurt her.
