Bette: So, what did you tell her?

Tina:  I told her to revise the budget to $3 million and show us everything that meets our needs up to $5 million. If it was over the budget, we may not tour the house, but we still wanted to know what was available. And then I emphasized that the house must have the attributes to meet our requirement or enough real estate to make the renovations to meet our needs. She said that we were looking for the type house that movie stars look for.  I then reminded her that I was a movie producer recently retired. I think I got her attention that we were not playing with her. We were seriously looking for a house.

Bette: Well, I hope she heard you.  She’s not going to want to deal with me. I’m in menopause!

Tina laughed:  I didn’t tell her that.  Maybe the next phone call. Come on let’s go get dressed. Ms. Menopause!

Bette laughed then.  They were really excited about the morning.  Daniel had a possible school and Bette had a job possibility.

Bette and Tina both decided to wear power suits. Bette was in a black tailored suit with a white shirt with long cuffs, and collar.  She wore her favorite cuff links and the black onyx necklace that Tina wore last Saturday night.  Tina wore almost the same suit with a wedgwood blue shirt.  Tina wore a multi-chain gold necklace with gold cuff links. They both wore moderate heels which were black patent leather with a strap around the heels. The both picked out a white lacy bra and matching panties. Both wore their hair down around their shoulders. Their makeup was perfect and emphasized their eyes.  This was their everyday work attire and they had dressed like this for years. It was comfortable and gave the women confidence to face any obstacle.

Bette went down stairs and gathered the copies of the will and got it ready to give to Paris. She had not had an opportunity to read, but she would read while in the exam rooms or waiting for the other to be finished. She would make the decision on whether to proceed before they got to dinner.
