Bette looks at Tina surprised and mouths “What?”
“Of course darling it would but that is not going to keep Carol from achieving her goal..I’m not sure yet if she actually is wanting to be with Bette or some devious plot to keep her tangled in a web of destruction…and why is she doing this now….But…” Peggy’s lips curl into a devious smile “I have a secret weapon”
Tina along with Bette looks at Peggy puzzled
“What secret weapon..What are you talking about?” Marion’s voice belts out through the speaker
“She’s talking about me” a beautiful woman appears in the doorway in a white pants suit. Long brunette locks flowing past her shoulders and an air of arrogance radiating from her..”Hello Mummy” she says in a thick British accent
Peggy motions her hand toward the woman
“Tina..Bette…And Marion even though you can’t see…This is Helena Peabody..My daughter”
Tina’s jaw drops and Bette just sits in silence
“Peggy you never mentioned you had a daughter” Tina says shocked
“Of course she didn’t..That’s not her style to claim she has a daughter..Is it Mummy?” Helena answers sarcastically
“Give it a break Helena” Peggy says exasperated
Bette finally speaks up “So how is this going to help the situation with Carol”
“I was getting to that” Peggy explains “Helena here has history with Carol Ashford”
Bette raises an eyebrow “What kind of history?”
“Oh Mummy…let me tell her” Helena says as she walks to stand by Peggy “Carol and I were lovers”
Bette throws her hand out “Whoa..What?”
Helena nods “Yeah seems she played both of us..Promising to leave her husband..Sound familiar”
Bette swallowed hard..”Yes”
Tina sighs..”Ok this is really too much to even take in but how are you even going to stop Carol from trying anything”
Helena folds her arms “Not only was I intimate with Carol… I was also her accountant…Let’s just say the information I have on her will put her away for a long time”
“Helena dear..Thank you for that titillating revelation” Peggy says clearing her throat to continue “I’m sure you see where we are going with this”
Bette looks at Tina , then Peggy and finally Helena
“Why are you doing this now..Why didn’t you do it when you knew of her illegal activities?”
Helena sighs “Because I was hoping she would come back to me”
“Oh for God sakes Helena…Sometimes I can’t believe you can be so weak” Peggy throws her hands up flabbergasted
Helena scoffs
“Well I bloody hell don’t hope that now ..I’m going to do the same thing she did to me..I am going to seduce her and when I finally have her eating out of my hands I’m throwing out my Ace..The snide bitch is going down”
Bette rolls her eyes “You forget the woman is a master manipulator…Can you really manipulate the master”
Helena smirks “Darling don’t let the good looks fool you…..I have left a long path of destruction in my wake”
Tina taps her chin in thought
“Well maybe with Helena pursuing her she will be distracted and lose her focus on Bette”
“That’s the intention..Trust me..Leave her to me..I will make sure she isn’t a problem” Helena responds confidently
Bette shakes her head
“I’m not so sure about this…But…Ok Helena…Do what you need to but make sure the succubus stays away from Tina and me”
Peggy interjects
“Rest assured Bette…Carol Ashford will not be a problem..That conniving bitch will get what’s coming to her”

This is such a cool story! I know – dumb thing to write – but it really is. Peggy Peabody is an absolute joy. Bringing Helena in as a secret weapon is just brilliant. Should have expected Helena to enter the story. Helena and Peggy are hysterical in their interaction and very easy to visualize. So funny! Helena’s arrogance is just what the doctor ordered to deal with Carol. Poor Bette though – she really does feel badly about being used by Carol. And we know Tina has sympathy and is developing a major soft spot for Bette. And other things. Bette is already smitten and is beginning to think Tina feels the same. Of course she does! No Helena distractions, Tina! This story gets better and better. And by the way – Tina – you so loved that kiss. Yes Tina it WAS hot!!! Fake girlfriend – not for long – Vegas oddsmakers are currently taking wagers.
Cool story indeed! Nothing dumb about that!

The coy Tina and Bette playing along and throwing in her charms. They are quite the couple! And Peggy and now Helena in the picture too. That bitch Carol doesn’t know what will hit her!
Agree with Bibi and Billy. Very cool story. Love how Tina repeatedly calls Bette her fake girlfriend then gets flustered when Bette kisses her. So funny. Looking forward to more…

Yep!! Love their interaction when Tina calls to get Bette out of bed. “Bette opens her eyes and chuckles “I like a woman that takes charge. Someone wants to spend time with me.” Oh Bette. Fake girlfriend indeed.
I like the banter between the two, but Bette’s self confidence is coming off as little misplaced. Bette is attractive and she knows it, but I think that the continuous “come on” lines will get a bit tiresome for Tina. Bette, show Tina that you have more in that brain than the desire for a sexual escapade. After all you two are about to go to Paris together and spend a significant amount of time together. Time to show Tina that there is some depth in the person that is Bette Porter. Tina is a person who is going to be a friend. So be a friend with her and cut out the “oh, I know you want me” crap. The arrangement is the arrangement, now give Tina a reason to want something different.
I love this story, it really can be a true gem in this collection of stories. Keep it coming…
I love this story so much already. I think Tina is already feeling something, despite her wanting to find Bette’s off switch. I love this flirty, arrogant Bette also…but she uses that to protect her heart. Good luck Bette, cause i think Tina’s already got it. So cute.

Hmm, not sure that Helena in long term it’s good for this Bete and Tina. Because after that Carol and knowing that their relationship only public trick what could stop her to go after Tina?
