    Both women were wet already, and knew that sleep would again be a luxury that they would not be able to afford much of for the second night in a row.

    When they finally parted lips, Tina looked up at her girlfriend and ran a hand through the curls framing her beautiful face.

    “Should I come to the meeting with you tomorrow?” Tina asked, biting her lip. Bette thought it was the cutest nervous habit and couldn’t help but smile down at her.

    “Do you want to?”

    “I don’t know. Part of me thinks maybe I should conference call you guys so I can bring Aaron in my office and watch his face when Joyce rejects the offer. But, at the same time, the selfish part of me wants to spend every waking moment with you no matter the location.” Tina blushed at her own admission, thinking that maybe she was coming across as too needy.

    Bette leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Tina’s forehead before adjusting herself so that she was now lying next to her. Her right leg tangled between Tina’s legs and her knee strategically rested itself against Tina’s burning core.

    “If it makes you feel better, I want to spend all my time with you too.” Bette confessed as she stroked Tina’s soft blonde hair with one hand, propping herself up with the other, resting her head in it.

    “Really?” Tina said with a goofy smile and lifted her eyebrows in surprise.

    “Yeah, really. You are so fucking adorable, Tina Kennard.” Bette said, stroking Tina’s cheek. Her compliment was rewarded with a big wet kiss as Tina used her weight to get on top of Bette.

    Law Offices of Joyce L. Wischnia

    The band, Bette, and James sat at the majestic, cherry walnut conference table that matched the decorative wall fixtures in color and ostentation. Among the items adorning the walls were Joyce’s State Bar certificate, law school diploma, undergrad degree, various awards and certificates for her legal achievements and contributions to the field, as well as photos of her with some of the more powerful figures in both the entertainment industry and the political sphere.

    In the middle of the table was a multi-line telephone that flashed lights occasionally but never actually rang. In the corner of the room sat a large printer/fax machine and just above the table attached to the ceiling was a projector pointing to the far wall where a screen could be pulled out from the wall-mounted casing while a large flatscreen TV was flush with the same wall.

      • I thought it would be funny to have Joyce overtly flirt with Kit much to Angus’s chagrin. She’s just too fun to write like that.

        And no promises that the single chapters will be lengthy. Especially since they are already written. ????

    6. Joyce really is hilarious! Hitting on Kit. LOL
      I enjoy her scences. Always funny though intelligent, sometimes a little too blunt but thouroughly honest.
      In the show I didn’t like her when she was hitting on Tina but it was great how she got T + B to get their act together and come to a less aggressive solution for the separation and child care.

      • Car is back on the road so all good there.

        I felt like since they are in the same general age bracket, that it would be funny to have Joyce flirt with Kit while Angus steams in the corner. I did enjoy playing with her character in this fic.
