    Bette:  I will remember that. I love you sweetheart. You get some rest too. Do not over do. You are going to need some energy for the weekend as well. The released each other and Tina picked up her remaining bag and her purse, looked around and followed Bette down the stairs.  Angie and Daniel

    Bette:  I will remember that. I love you sweetheart. You get some rest too. Do not over do. You are going to need some energy for the weekend as well.

    The released each other and Tina picked up her remaining bag and her purse, looked around and followed Bette down the stairs.  Angie and Daniel were waiting in the foyer.

    Bette:  Are we ready to go?

    Tina:  Okay, let’s go to John Wayne Airport in Orange County. It’s going to take a little over an hour to get there. We just need to be there by 6:30. So we are good on time.

    Angie:  Wow that’s in the next county.  Why aren’t they at LAX?

    Bette:  You need to ask Helena that. Its further away from Helena than it is us.

    Tina:  It’s where the hanger is for the plane. There may not be any hangers available at LAX.

    The family loaded into Bette’s metallic dark red Fusion and proceeded on their journey to the airport. Angie was excited about flying on a private plane and Daniel was envious. Bette and Tina were quiet on the trip.  They were listening to the kid’s chatter. Tina was thinking about the wonderful night that she and Bette had enjoyed the night before.  And Bette was thinking about the weekend she had planned for Tina when she returned.  Bette reached for Tina’s hand and held it for most of the journey. Holding hands gave them both comfort and assurance that their connection was strong and gave them the courage they needed to get through the week.

    They arrived at the terminal for the private jet port.  Bette went and hugged Angie and hoped they had a good trip. She then hugged and kissed her wife and told her to call her tomorrow morning about 9:00 am New York time.  Then she wished her a good trip and told her she loved her.  They then released each other and went through the security process and directed their luggage to the Peabody jet.  Helena and Dylan arrived and greeted Bette and Daniel. They then went through the security and joined Tina and Angie. They were to be taken to the plane via golf cart. Once they disappeared from site, Bette and Daniel headed back to the car.

      Thank you for reading and commenting. We have many more chapters of Volume 2 to go. I will be posting at least 2 chapters per week and some chapters are quite long. My goal was to present Bette and Tina and what life would be like in my view if there had been no Gen Q…. This is the summer the family moves to the Los Angeles area… They are in the process of changing professions, changing homes, getting Angie ready for Yale and getting a school for Daniel. The next chapters are where some of their real work begins. Tina and Angie go to New York to get Angie’s wardrobe ready and Bette keeps Daniel and works with him to get him ready for his new school year. This is the first time Bette and Tina have been apart all summer… hope you enjoy this next few chapters.
