Chapter 91 – Boss Me Around in the Bedroom

“So when can we talk shop, Bette?” Aaron asked as Bette and Tina approached the bar. In one hand, he cradled his Jack and Coke while his other hand creepily rubbed across Chastity’s hips and ass.
“There’s still plenty of show left, Aaron. Chill the fuck out, okay? Business can wait.” Bette grinned as she grabbed the bucket of beers and led Tina back to the green room. The rest of the band followed the happy couple leaving James, Tori and the label employees at the bar.
As they paraded back into the green room, Angus quickly stood up from where he was sitting on the couch next to Kit. His shirt was half untucked, and the smeared lipstick on his face was enough to stop everyone dead in their tracks with awkward smiles on their faces.
“How’s it going in here?” Bette was the first one to break the silence this time.
“What happened to your hand?” Kit questioned Alice who had a towel packed with ice wrapped around her right hook.
“Jodi slammed her face into it.” She deadpanned.
“What the hell?”
Again, three of the Stouts had to retell the story to the singer and guitarist that would inevitably go down as one of the single best moments in Stout-show history.
Soon it was time to play the second set, and despite everyone’s concerns, Alice was cool to continue playing.

The Green Room
15 minutes after the final encore of the show, the Stouts were relaxing with more beers and celebrating with one another. Tina, Bette, James and Tori led Aaron and all of Tina’s A&R reps to the room for a little post-show meet and greet.
“It is so nice to finally meet you in the flesh, Kit.” Aaron brown-nosed as he held out his hand. “This is Chastity.” He pointed to the bouncy stripper next to him. “She and her mom are big fans.”
“Huge! We have all your old stuff!” She said animatedly.
“That’s awesome. Thanks so much for coming to the show. Is your mom here?”
“Oh, no. She’s back in Orange County. I’ll tell her you said ‘hi’ though.”
“Please do.” Kit said with a slightly puzzled look.
“Have a seat, Aaron.” Tina invited her boss, reveling in the moments leading up to Aaron’s professional heartbreak.

Are you serious?! An epilogue? Wow! Feels like a belated b-day presi, no matter when it’ll be finished 8-) Oh and MeLL….feel hugged in thanks in advance.
Haven’t read your final yet. As soon as I read “feel free to leave some scenarios” my mind started firing off snippets of scenes. Let’s see if I come up with something useful.

The different setting you put T + B and all the other characters in worked just beautifully. Music as the theme for your story was a brilliant idea. It made the connection that Bette and Tina share even more special. Not only their love for music and their shared interests in music but also the songs you wove into the story made PBH my no. 1 on my Top Ten list for some years now.
So thanks again for all the time you devoted to create this amazing story :-)
As for ideas for an epilogue. I have a few but the one thing I would love to read about would be a Grammy. A Grammy for best song for Bette (and maybe Kit) would tie up the loose end of the story of her dad. She could mention him in her acceptance speech.

A Grammy award is a great idea kiwipit, Helena buying Fierce Kitty and putting Tina in charge and getting rid of that jerk Aaron before he causes the label millions in sexual harassment suits. B & T married and extremely happy would be a great start to the next part of the journey.
I’m with everyone, this story needs an epilogue and whatever you’ll be writing will be amazing I’m sure of it !
As for another story, I hope you already have something in mind because I’ll miss your posts.

Ahh one of my friends have told me about this fic. I’m sad to say I haven’t finished yet but the name of this chapter has me I honestly love how you have written Bette and Tina in all your other fics you’re truly one of my favourite writers and your fics are honestly some of my favourites I can’t wait to read more of this although I will be sad when it ends. But I can’t wait for more future fics. Thank you for writing as I love reading your work you’re amazing
Tina being the boss and they are so freaking cute in this fic Tina peppering her faces in kisses calling her baby because she’s going to Austin with her oh they can’t be apart ever. I’m so sad this has ended but I love it so much I’m going to reread it. A sequel would be so amazing one day though of Tina buying it and it would be sweet seeing Bette working for her the fun they would get up too but thank you I can’t wait for what your next fic will be
