    “It’s the least I could do..I hope everything is ok?” Bette asked concerned as she watched Tina hurriedly jump up from her stool and grabbing her briefcase Tina nodded “Uh..Yeah..I hope it will be..Good luck with your interview..Not that you’ll need it though ” Tina said flashing a smile as she left leaving Bette to

    “It’s the least I could do..I hope everything is ok?” Bette asked concerned as she watched Tina hurriedly jump up from her stool and grabbing her briefcase

    Tina nodded “Uh..Yeah..I hope it will be..Good luck with your interview..Not that you’ll need it though ” Tina said flashing a smile as she left leaving Bette to stare after her

    30 minutes later Tina found herself entering what has become probably her third home behind her own home and court house..

    “Good evening Margaret…What did she do this time?” Tina asked as she approached the window immediately signing her name on the register.

    “Prostitution”. The woman behind the partitioned window answered “She solicited an undercover cop…I’ll have her sent to Interview room 2”

    Tina nods

    “Damn it Haleigh” Tina muttered under her breath as the buzzer sounded and the door  opened letting Tina through where she is met by an officer

    “Hello Ms Kennard” he greets as she walks to the metal detector setting her briefcase down on the conveyor belt

    “How are you Travis?”

    “Can’t complain” He responds as he scans Tina’s briefcase and pushes it out to the other side

    No other words are said as Tina grabs her suitcase and makes her way to Interview Room 2. She opens the door and enters closing it behind her and seats herself at the table sitting her briefcase down beside her on the floor..She glances at the camera in the corner recording and sighs.

    She didn’t have to wait long before the door opens and a woman is led in with an accompanying officer who seats her and removes her cuffs before leaving the two in privacy.

    Tina crosses her arms

    “What?”  The woman rolls her eyes.  Her long blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail.  Her mascara staining her cheeks from crying. Her blue dress donning material barely enough to cover her breasts and length of it just covering her thighs

    Tina shook her head in disappointment

    “Haleigh…Prostitution?..Really?”

    “It was Sadie’s idea..She said I could make $500 a night..It was stupid ok?” Haleigh shrugged looking at her fingernails “Can you just pay my bail so I can go?…I will show up for my court date and you will get me off as usual and I promise I won’t do it again”

    1. Oh boy… Haleigh is a mess… Sounds like this is not the first time she has called Tina for help or to be bailed out of jail. And there is what 15 or 16 years difference between Haleigh and Tina ages. So Tina and Bette are about 33 or 34 years old and Haleigh would be about 18 or 19 and she appears to be a mess. I think that we can look forward to some more problems for Tina in the future.

      So now Bette has a job in her chosen professes ion – accounting. Maybe she can get on her feet with this job.

      And I understand that Tina is going to have problems separating her personal feelings from her professional judgement. She is still very attracted to Bette… so let’s see what happens.
