Diary of a Mad Addict . . . Chapter 26
You sure that didnt happen in the elevator the other day? she asked with a grin on her face that told me without a doubt she KNEW what had happened and why I ordered by my boss to resume the therapy sessions.
(GAWDDAMMIT – -SHE KNOWS- – SHE MOTHERFUUCKIN KNOWS . . . DON T SAY ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE A REALLY, REALLY GOOD EXPLANATION . . .ACT LIKE YOU DIDNT HEAR THE QUESTION . . . )
I lay there frozen on the leather sofa, immobile, acting as if I had not heard the question. I needed to steer the conversation away from the elevator and towards the season finale of L,,but I had to choose my words carefully. So I just laid there, eyes closed, barely breathing, and let the memory of that incident fill my brain. If I thought about what had happened, maybe I could fabricate a believable half truth version of the events.
I had not been feeling well all week, in fact I was quite depressed about the fact that I was facing the end of season two and even worse about the way I had spoken to Bette the night she appeared to me during the dream and beating fiasco in our bedroom. I had accused her of hypocrisy as she once again tried to make me see the error of my deceptive ways. She, a cheating adulterer herself, giving me advise on honesty and truthfulness was unacceptable, so I thought. I even tried to compare the way Ks mother treats me to the way her father treats Tina, yet for some reason Bette was not amused nor in the mood to discuss anything remotely related to the Show. Seeing how Melvin up and died in the last episode really made me regret ripping Bette thus making my week at work quite miserable.
So as I performed my daily duties I tried to find comfort in small pleasures along the route, either that or make some trouble which I could laugh about later. Choosing the latter was a big mistake that day on the elevator.
I was delivering a package to the tenth floor of one of the beachs newest and more affluent condos and was just a bit annoyed that repairs were being rendered to the elevator. Luckily the lift was operational so I didnt have to walk all those flights of stairs just to retrieve a frickin signature.

My goodness…an advertisement when leaving comments now? Anywho, back to YOU..You sick, sick woman….oh how I loved this tale. ” I simply couldn’t resist detailing a concern I had. I grabbed my government issued black ink pen from my breast pocket and wrote a comment.” LOL!! ” Unbeknownst to me this man was nuttier than a Snickers bar and gayer than a rainbow colored feather boa on a stiletto-heeled drag queen.” See, now I know plenty of straights who enjoy a good rainbow boa every now and then. HA, no I dont! Bravo, ya nut. I need some scotch!
Beach, you really surpassed yourself with this story, I laughed from beginning till end. Just the imagination of you…
I’m looking forward to the complete check up you get done by the hot hot dr. Gabs LMAO
It has been almost a month since your last post. Don’t leave us hanging. There are addicts like you out there who need our fix and can relate. We are a mess, our lives are Lconsumed and your postings make us smile and feel a sense of normality. Don’t listen to the Dr. Addiction, screw the job, K will understand, just write more often.
God Beach…or should that be Bette Beach…you have one strange and twisted mind!! I love every corner of it!!!
LOL @ “That bitch is fuckin hot when she is sleeping around” – ain’t that the truth!!
Beach, it looks like you sure are going to have some serious issues – better pull that pillow down a little tighter yourself, before K does…that might make it a little less painful…
A wonderful start to the day. I love me some Beach humor.
LMAO! That was just what I needed this morning…and I thought I had issues;)…
I second that motion stella. More, Beach, more!!
