    Do Better – Chapter Three

    “I understand and I know I’m a big problem.”

“I’m not saying you’re a big problem but you’re part of the problem, Bette.”

“I know I can be a lot. I know my feelings can push out of my mouth and my choice of words along with that can piss a lot of people off. But I know a lot of our problems were brought on by me. That day you left me, I had a lot of time to think. A lot of time to process my rights and wrongs. But everything we go through never stops my love for you, T.”

“I’m part of the wrong too. It’s not just you.”

“But at the end of the day, I still lost you to someone else. And because of that I need to do better.”

Our conversation goes quiet. And I look over into her eyes again for the one hundredth time tonight they catch mine.

“I believe we should both work on ourselves before each other.” I say.

I get this smile from Tina’s face that resembles some sort of relief.

“Tina, I never want to rush you.”

“I have been meaning to ask you something, Bette.”

    “What’s that?”

    “Pippa..you guys were so close.”

A gentle smile comes across my face.

“I didn’t mean to bring it up if it’s going to upset you.”

“I’m upset, yes but I did talk to her. I apologized. I told her I didn’t mean to bring her along for the ride when I knew I wasn’t truly over you, Tina.”

“I never thought in a million years Pippa Pascal would be in this mix up.”

“As great as she is. She isn’t you.”

“What are you talking about, the woman is a masterpiece.”

“As incredible as she is and trust me, her art has brought me to tears. And not many artists can do that. No one compares to you.”

Tina reaches out to take my hand in hers.

“Tina, you’re the mother of my child. I strive for the two of you.”

Tina smiles at me and I give a soft smile back.

“I’m sorry if I’m getting over sentimental on you. I just can’t help but to be able to finally say these things to you again.”

    1. Great chapter.

It still hurts Bette that Tina left her for that woman and now that woman is talking with Angie behind their back and I’m don’t trust her, she wants Angie to meet someone?

She is using Angie to hurt Bette and maybe Tina as well. And Angie thinks she is so grown up and think that woman can be trusted. No way.

Sorry, i can’t say out or write that woman’s name.

Bette going to work on herself is positive but Tina should do it too, Bette always blames herself but Tina played a very big part in their on and off relationships. She is known to hide her feelings and instead of talking to Bette she runs away every time it gets to much.

I’m enjoying this story. Thank you.
