Tina holds up her index and thumb. “Maybe a little…”
“I know, but listen to what I’m saying to you…. thank you, and I don’t mean just the party……thank you for coming back to us, TK……” She emotionally says. “This has been the best birthday in years, and it has a whole lot to do with the fact that our family feels whole again……we missed the hell outta you….”
Tears immediately sting Tina’s eyes as she looks at her friend. “Thank you for welcoming me back with open arms, Al…. I missed you guys too…”
Alice brings Tina in for a long, loving hug. “Love ya…”
“Love you too….” Tina says, returning Alice’s hug.
Alice then pulls away and points at Tina. “The after party is at Shane’s…. you’re coming…”
Tina shakes her head. “I am not….”
Alice pouts. “Rude….”
Tina giggles as Alice dances over and opens the front door. “Let’s go, people!”
Alice and Dana laugh as they walk out of the house. Shane walks over to Tina with her arm draped over Carme’s shoulder. “You sure you don’t want in?”
Tina nods. “I’m positive…”
“Alright, you know where we are….” She says with a wink.
Carmen waves at Tina. “See ya, girl….”
Tina returns Carmen’s wave.
Tina then smiles at Lara. “Thanks so much for ensuring they get to where they’re going safely….”
Lara returns the smile. “No problem, I was happy to be the responsible one tonight…. I certainly feel sorry for our Lift driver, though…. have a good one…”
“You too….” Tina says.
“Shotgun!” Alice says as she steps down from the porch. “I’m the glue, damn it…” she exclaims as Shane gets into the front seat of the car.
Tina laughs, closes the front door, then walks back into the living room and sees Bette picking up random empty bottles.
“You don’t have to do that…. I have a crew coming in to clean up tomorrow….”
Bette nods. “I know, I’m just doing my part before I head out….”
“Well, you don’t have to; the only place I’m gonna clean tonight is the kitchen….”
Bette laughs. “You still have that thing about a dirty kitchen, huh?”
Tina giggles and nods. “Yes, what can I say? It’s the southern girl in me…. I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing dirty dishes are in the sink….”

OMG…Bette came BACK!!! I can’t hardly wait to see what happens next!!!! YES, Bette and Tina KISSED and got heated in the kitchen, acknowledged something is going on between them and they want to talk about it!!!!
Bette came back a knocking and Tina put on the Marvin Gaye, LET’S GET IT ON!!! OUR Girls are Jumping in Arms and Kicking Doors Closed, I want them back together so badly!!!
I think Shane suspected something was up with Bette’s car still there and I can imagine Tina was still a lil flush and heated. Glad she found those keys and high tailed out of there!!! (hahaha)
