Bette smiles. “I’ll help you….”
“You don’t have to do that. It won’t take me long…”
“Well, it’ll take even less time with two people….”
“I suppose you have a point…” She says as she turns and walks out of the room.
Bette picks up a few more beer bottles before she follows Tina out of the living room into the kitchen……

About twenty minutes later, Bette is rinsing the last glass, and Tina wipes down the island before she leans against it. She stretches her neck from side to side and yawns.
Bette sets the glass on the drying rack and then turns and smiles at Tina. “Done…”
Tina smirks. “Thank you. I actually should’ve taken pictures of Bette Porter washing dishes….”
Bette returns Tina’s smirk. “I have no issue with washing dishes, Kennard….”
“Uh huh…. I remember differently…”
Bette shrugs. “We had Sonya. I didn’t wanna step on her toes….”
Tina laughs and shakes her head.
Bette then looks around Tina and spots a glass on the aisle behind her. “Oh, missed one…” She says, walking over to the island. Her body brushes Tina’s as she stretches to reach the glass. Tina is gripping the island’s edge with both hands when she slightly turns her head, gently grazing her nose against Bette’s.
They both stop all movement for a beat. Tina’s hands are still clutching the island, and Bette’s hand lies on the counter behind Tina while the other hangs by her side. She then moves over to stand directly in front of Tina as they begin to allow themselves to breathe each other in.
Tina gently gasps as Bette puts her other hand on the island, trapping Tina between her arms. Tina reaches up and plays with the edges of Bette’s curly hair as Bette moves in closer. They both lean into each other, and then their lips crash together for the first time in years, causing both to moan gently.
As the kiss becomes more heated, Tina tangles her hand into Bette’s hair while Bette’s hands find their way to Tina’s waist. Their tongues tangle together, their breath hitches, and moans become more prevalent. Bette gasps as she slightly bends her knees, picks Tina up, and sits her on the island.

OMG…Bette came BACK!!! I can’t hardly wait to see what happens next!!!! YES, Bette and Tina KISSED and got heated in the kitchen, acknowledged something is going on between them and they want to talk about it!!!!
Bette came back a knocking and Tina put on the Marvin Gaye, LET’S GET IT ON!!! OUR Girls are Jumping in Arms and Kicking Doors Closed, I want them back together so badly!!!
I think Shane suspected something was up with Bette’s car still there and I can imagine Tina was still a lil flush and heated. Glad she found those keys and high tailed out of there!!! (hahaha)
