“…I just think that’s like a little too much….” Shane says to Dana with a shrug.
Dana rolls her eyes. “This is Alice we’re talking about; there’s no such thing….”
“I agree…. but do you really think she’s gonna believe it?”
“Yeah, she’s been begging us to go to that damn 80s-themed Escape Room for months now….and she’s gonna believe it because we’re all gonna be in on it…” Dana then turns and looks at Tina. “Tina…you think it’ll work, right?”
Tina chuckles as she picks up her orange juice. “Yeah, a little too good…. she’s gonna be pissed for like the entire day….”
Shane thinks for a second and then smiles. “Yeah, I can’t wait….”
Dana smiles. “You’re finally you’re on board….”
“On board with what?” Bette asks as she walks over and sits down.
Tina cuts into her omelet. “The plan to make Alice think we forgot her birthday…”
Bette chuckles. “She’s gonna be pissed the whole day…”
Tina smiles and nods. “That’s what I said….”
Dana points at Bette. “You’re on board, right? We don’t need any half-assing–”
Bette reaches for a menu and scoffs. “I excel at many things; half-assing is most definitely not in my repertoire, I can assure you…”
Dana looks around the table and shrugs. “The only thing I’m worried about is, what if she doesn’t take the bait? I mean, there is a chance she doesn’t pick up my phone and snoop….”
Everybody looks up simultaneously and gives Dana an ‘Are you kidding me?’ expression.
Dana nods and looks up at the ceiling. “Yeah, I know, I just heard the absurdity that came out of my mouth…. disregard….” She then turns and looks at Tina. “You got everything we need?”
Tina nods. “Pretty much. I still got a few things to get, but I’m on it….”
Dana smiles. “Good….”
“Thanks again for hosting the party, Tina…. I know Alice is gonna love it….” Shane says.
Tina shrugs. “It’s my pleasure…. I’ve missed this, all these shenanigans…. I’m just glad I’m back….”
Dana smiles. “We’re happy you’re back too….”
Bette and Tina give each other a warm smile.
A few beats later, Shane looks up and sighs when she sees Alice walk through the door. “Here she comes….”

OMG…Bette came BACK!!! I can’t hardly wait to see what happens next!!!! YES, Bette and Tina KISSED and got heated in the kitchen, acknowledged something is going on between them and they want to talk about it!!!!
Bette came back a knocking and Tina put on the Marvin Gaye, LET’S GET IT ON!!! OUR Girls are Jumping in Arms and Kicking Doors Closed, I want them back together so badly!!!
I think Shane suspected something was up with Bette’s car still there and I can imagine Tina was still a lil flush and heated. Glad she found those keys and high tailed out of there!!! (hahaha)
