“The fuck?” She gasps. “These sons of bitches forgot my– Escape room?!” She continues to scroll, gasping with each word she reads. A few beats later, she looks up and sees Dana. She hurriedly puts the phone back in its precise spot.
Dana returns to the table, and Alice gives her a subtle glare before she straightens her face and puts on a fake smile when Dana looks at her.
“I thought you would be on the dance floor by the time I got back…” Dana says.
Alice shakes her head. “Nah, waiting on the right song….”
“Ah….” Dana then yawns and stretches her arms over her head. “Man, I’m tired…. are you about ready to head out?”
Alice eyes Dana suspiciously. “The tiredness just hit ya, huh? Funny how that happens….”
Dana gives Alice a closed-mouth smile. “Ready?”
Alice knocks back the rest of her drink and then nods. “Yep….”
Dana stands up and heads toward the exit. Alice’s glare returns as she snatches her jacket from the back of her chair and walks away from the table, gently nudging people. “Uh, excuse me…. a little respect, birthday girl coming through….” She yells while making her way through the crowd….

The following day, Tina walks into the house holding an armful of shopping bags while balancing her cell phone between her ear and shoulder. “I know…. Dana said she was livid last night……” Tina laughs as she enters the dining room and drops the bags on the table. “No…. Shane, I told you I don’t need you to do that; I’ve hired a whole staff to come and do that……yes, the karaoke machine is here already….”
Tina giggles and shakes her head. “Well, I’m sorry…. yeah, see you guys later….” Tina ends the call and begins to unpack the shopping bags.
A few beats later, her phone rings again; she looks over and sees Bette’s smiling picture flash across the screen. She accepts the call and puts it on speaker.
“Shouldn’t you be getting ready to go pick up the birthday girl in a few hours?”
“Please don’t remind me….” Bette says as she strolls down a sidewalk.
Tina laughs.
Bette laughs. “Any chance you wanna switch roles?”
Tina smiles. “Uh, I think I’m good…. did Dana tell you how pissed she was last night?”

OMG…Bette came BACK!!! I can’t hardly wait to see what happens next!!!! YES, Bette and Tina KISSED and got heated in the kitchen, acknowledged something is going on between them and they want to talk about it!!!!
Bette came back a knocking and Tina put on the Marvin Gaye, LET’S GET IT ON!!! OUR Girls are Jumping in Arms and Kicking Doors Closed, I want them back together so badly!!!
I think Shane suspected something was up with Bette’s car still there and I can imagine Tina was still a lil flush and heated. Glad she found those keys and high tailed out of there!!! (hahaha)
