Hole We Call L.A.

BS “What the hell’s going on here???”

Los Angeles.
It is a Los Angeles that is different from the one in which Bette Porter is running for Mayor, but like that LA and like Angel City, the red skies are here and they are bringing chaos as a group of young Runaways do their best to face down the threat. The earth begins to quake at their feet. Two of the young group members, Karolina Dean and Nico Minoru aid in the efforts to keep people safe, but even they know there is only so much that can be done.
Karolina “Look, I’m not trying to be dire, but-”
Nico “Then don’t!”
Nico powers her Staff of One as the lightning intensifies.
Nico “Whatever this is, it isn’t Earth born!”
Karolina “Earth born?”
Nico “No one here made this happen. This is a force from outside our world, maybe even this realm!”
Karolina “Alien weather villains, just what we need!”
Los Angeles.
Another version of the city begins to experience a similar fate as employees and patrons alike inside the Bonaventure Hotel begin to panic. The top floor of the hotel has a restaurant known as Above the Top and this sense of real panic and fear is strikingly different from what the locals of this universe are used to. Two of the waitresses at Above the Top, Ginger St. James and Amy Tompkins have attempted to keep calm, but the quaking of the earth below cause them to huddle together.
Amy “I can’t believe this is the end!”
Ginger “I can’t believe the end’s happening on a work day.”

Los Angeles.
They are gathered in the offices of the Townsend Agency, unsure what do against the red sky outside or the crazy weather brought with it. They can look out the window.
Julie “It looks so bad outside.”
Kelly “I know. Kris, any word on Jill?”
Kris “No, she’s not answering her phone! What about Bosley?”
Kelly “It’s not like him not to be here already.”
They can feel the earthquake and it shakes the building to the point of everyone inside falling to the floor.

Santa Rosita, California.
Having recently been released from prison for a variety of crimes that all occurred on the same day in 1963, it is now 1964 and for Emmeline Marcus-Finch and Monica Crump, their newfound freedom has also been found in divorcing their respective husbands who brought them along on their mad, mad, mad, mad day some months ago. All of that now however seems pointless as the red sky overhead, the lightning, the wind, and the earthquake threatens to erase them.
