…. I would
She didn’t swear because of the minor damage she had caused to her wall, it was only a stain on a wall, or the fact that her cherished pen was now lying broken in half, spilling the rest of its inky life on the shiny teak wooden floor.
No.
It was something else.
The feeling had come back again, the stabbing, the squeezing of her heart gleaning the life out of her.
She closed her eyes, tightly, hoping to thwart the new tears of grief, pain, sorrow and regret.
Tina had left again, and Bette flinched hard as reality plunged another dagger into her heart.
She moved from her spot, feeling the muscles in her legs tighten after hours by the cold window.
Since when did it rain in L.A or got cold enough for anyone to notice? Was it perhaps that her life now felt meaningless, without her or at least the hope of her in her life?
Bette realised how she had failed to reassure Tina. How her dreams, goals and everything else had gone with her wife… her ex-wife… the second she had walked over the threshold that evening after telling Bette about her aspirations of a life with another.
The evening had begun with the rituals of preparing a home cooked meal – Tagine – the process had not escaped from Bette’s mind that once before she had found herself by the chopping board readying dinner when Tina had suddenly appeared. The rest of the day had not panned out in the same fashion though as she recalled their entangled bodies in her bed after several orgasms and a foray into dirty talk which had revealed a new side of Tina.
Not at all the same.
This time, the whole experience had blended into a short goodbye, unpromising of returned affection. The goodbye fell to the back of her mind as she crossed the room trying to push away thoughts of unrequited love.
No amount of regret would bring the blonde back now. Her heart had turned, exasperated no doubt.
‘No!’ Bette spoke out loud as she marched through the room. ‘No, no, no, no.’ She chanted punctuating each word with a determined fist shake, unable to bear the finality of it all, unwilling to accept the last embers of a happy life with Tina, had extinguished.

hahaha…. thanks for reading!
Hi Kins40,
So great to see you back!
First, I had to laugh with a tear of sorrow for Bette that the only word she could say was Fuck.
I thought it was a sad story, I could really feel the pain Bette felt. The realization that she now really lost Tina.
But how she then picked up herself again and decided to fight for Tina and let Tina know what she feels for her and what Tina means to her.
It was a beautiful letter! A letter that I hope Tina will consider whether her own future and whether that other woman is worth it and not an excuse.
I cannot understand that Tina left and divorced Bette to find herself and soon find someone else and get married so quickly. This whole story that was created by the producers and writers is simply unbelievable in my eyes.
I hope you write a sequel in which you tell Tina’s feelings and her reaction to Bette’s letter.
And it would make me very happy if there were a happy ending for my favorite couple Bette & Tina!
Thank you so much for this still heartbreaking story!
this series has raised so many questions of why and how ..etc… I’m sure the writers will see the effect that 20 minutes or so of shared screen with JB and LH has done to raise the profile of this new show. We can only but hope…
I’m happy because one of my favorite writer return and sad because i don’t see words TBC at the end of this story.
never say never!!!!
Kins! You’re back, too! Wonderful :-)
Thanks for your additional scences to episode 7. Beautiful poem.
Are you going to write Tina’s reaction to the letter? Will you have her write back?
Well done. Now, please send to Showtime and JB, k? Thanks…
Oh Kins, you are a true poet.
Thanks for the shout-out.
I wish for more and more of this beautiful writing. There is no way to set up notifications? I need to be on the watch for the new chapters.
Always a great pleasure and a joy to see you have posted a story
I loved it and the lovely words of your letter/poem even.
I hope Tina feels the love coming from those words and comes back to Bette to try again and that she hasn’t had enough of Bettes Shit as she once put it
I await Tina’s reply as I’m sure she will. How could she not after reading that letter
TBC ………..?
Oh my god what a coincidence, I was just reading your stories and I thought that maybe you’ll come back and here you are !! I’m not going to comment this fic though (sorry about that). I was just beginning to watch the show when this damn epi aired so I’m probably done with it BUT I hope you’ll write Tibette stories soon …
Please what is Tina’s reply to this poetic love letter?
