    Bette grimaced, taking offense in her words. When she saw Tina running after the plane, she immediately jumped into conclusions – but now, she realized she got her hopes up for nothing. Feeling dejected, she turned around and started to walk back towards the parked jet. Before she could take another step away from the love of her life, she felt a hand holding her back.

     

    “Hear me out for a minute..” Tina quietly whispered.

     

    “I have to go.” Bette bit back, allowing her annoyance to mask the disappointment that was eating her up inside.

     

    “Please..” The blonde begged.

     

    Bette pinched the bridge of her nose. She really wasn’t in the mood for mind games.

     

    “Please..” Tina repeated, chipping away Bette’s resolve.

     

    Pussy-whipped! She heard Alice’s voice as she closed her eyes. Whatever. “Fine, you have a minute.” She gave in.

     

    “I realized something..” Tina started.

     

    Stuffing her hands inside her pockets, Bette turned around and faced the blonde. She put up a mask of indifference, one of her defense mechanisms kicking in. “What?” She asked coolly.

     

    “I like a lot of things.”

     

    “Okay.” The heiress tilted her head, curious as to where Tina was heading with this.

     

    “I like.. USC.”

     

    Bette made a sarcastic sound in her throat. “Well, duh.”

     

    “Shut up, let me finish.” Tina snapped, effectively shushing the girl up. With Bette seemingly starting to behave, she decided to carry on. “I like USC. I like the school. I like the campus. I like that it has a film school and I like that its in LA and near my dad. I like the friends that I’ve made, the teachers that I have, and the subjects that they teach. Of course, its a given that I also like films. I like watching movies and I like the whole process behind making them.” She let out without so much as a pause.

     

    Bette was even more confused now, but she wisely kept quiet and let Tina continue.

     

    “But I also like hamburgers. I like ice cream, especially those chunky ones that you always get for me. I like looking at stars, I like amusement parks. I super like animals. I like watching cartoons and I like Sesame Street. I like to eat fruits, but not as much as I like eating junk food. I like stuffed toys, I like doing martial arts. I also like reading books and I really like teaching little kids.” She said. Her voice was wavering but she held on and finished.

Every chapter that I have read has made me laugh(hysterically at times)and cry (sobbing at some points) and actually feeling the heartbreak between those two! Tina running after a plane?     5. oh alchemy – i have llooooovvvvvveeeeed this story so much! How you wrote this couple was brilliant…especially Bette! the humour and F4, well it’s just been one of my favourite stories ever! I’m so pleased how this last chapter played out, all along it’s been Bette who’s made the sacrifices and done anything to please Tina but this was all Tina making things right and getting them back together, permanently! Please don’t stay away from these boards for long and let me join in with everyone else and pray for the sequel! Thanks for the brilliant story Alc!!

    7. WOW. Im giving you a well rounded applause as of this writing :) Alchemy thank you for this story. Its been 55 Chapters of roller coaster ride. You are an amazing writer and though its saddening that JTG is ending, there is a flicker of hope because its not really the end. Will be awaiting for whats next.

I know i am very late to reading this story.Someone pointed me towards it.I have to say its the best fan fiction i have read.It’s been brilliantly funny having me laugh out loud and so sad at Ch54 it had me in tears but thankfully they are going to be together.I’m told there is a sequel so i am gonna go look for it.Thankyou once again it was brilliant
