    “What are you trying to say?”

     

    Tina wiped the tears that were forming at the side of her eyes and sniffled. “I like a lot of things, care deeply for a lot of things. But,” She paused and looked at Bette straight in the eyes. “I love you.” She smiled as fresh tears flowed down her face. She didn’t bother wiping them away now. “And those things that I’ve just mentioned, I realized that I could live without them. I could not have them in my life and still be able to function well and not feel as if my heart was being ripped out of my chest with their absence.”

     

    Feeling her anger dissipate, Bette tucked Tina’s hair behind her ear and let her fingers wipe the blonde’s tear stained cheeks. “Baby, remember the thing called separation anxiety that we talked about before? It’s been four months but we’re still adjusting. I know it’ll be hard at first, but we’ll get used to it eventually.”

     

    “But that’s just it! I can’t get used to it and I don’t think I want to. I don’t ever want to get used to not having you in my life on a daily basis. I’ve had enough alone time and I’ve been so fucking miserable I think I’m losing my mind..”

     

    “But baby,”

     

    “Wait, hear me out.” Tina sniffled. She swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat. “And you’re right, I was being wishy-washy and indecisive about what I wanted to do with my life. But I’ve made a decision, and this time, I’m gonna stick with it.” She stated with certainty, knowing that she was about to make a choice that would define her life. “Porter, I don’t want you to stay in LA. I want you to go back to Yale. And I want to come with you.”

     

    “What?!” Bette looked at the blonde in surprise. Was she hearing things?

     

    “I want to come with you.” Tina repeated. “Take me with you.”

     

    “Are you serious?!”

     

    “I should have listened to you from the start. I want to be with you. And this feels right. This-” Tina motioned to the two of them. “Us. Together. It feels right.”

Every chapter that I have read has made me laugh(hysterically at times)and cry (sobbing at some points) and actually feeling the heartbreak between those two! Tina running after a plane? OMG … Yes I am sorry to see you leave us for a bit but I hope You are planning the sequel!!     5. oh alchemy – i have llooooovvvvvveeeeed this story so much! How you wrote this couple was brilliant…especially Bette! the humour and F4, well it’s just been one of my favourite stories ever! I’m so pleased how this last chapter played out, all along it’s been Bette who’s made the sacrifices and done anything to please Tina but this was all Tina making things right and getting them back together, permanently! Please don’t stay away from these boards for long and let me join in with everyone else and pray for the sequel! Thanks for the brilliant story Alc!!

    7. WOW. Im giving you a well rounded applause as of this writing :) Alchemy thank you for this story. Its been 55 Chapters of roller coaster ride. You are an amazing writer and though its saddening that JTG is ending, there is a flicker of hope because its not really the end. Will be awaiting for whats next.

    8. This story was the best..I’m sad to see it end. I loved watching Bette grow with Tina’s help and love along the way. A sequel would be great.Forgetting these two and their group will be hard.

I know i am very late to reading this story.Someone pointed me towards it.I have to say its the best fan fiction i have read.It’s been brilliantly funny having me laugh out loud and so sad at Ch54 it had me in tears but thankfully they are going to be together.I’m told there is a sequel so i am gonna go look for it.Thankyou once again it was brilliant
