    “What can I do? The entire financing of the movie is tied up in her directing it. Even if it wasn’t about the money it’s too late to get a new director. We’re two months from completion. All the pieces are in place and it’s my ass on the line if we don’t get the movie finished on time.”

    “It’s just a movie Tina. It’s not going to make or break the studio. You’ll have other projects.”

    “This is a $19million dollar deal Bette. They don’t come along every day especially not for a start-up studio like Peabody-Shaolin. This is our chance to break into the mainstream. I need Kate to get us there.”

    “Who’s pulling the purse strings?”

    “Some billionaire by the name of William Halsey. Kate met him in Mexico. He was infatuated with her. He invited her to spend a few weeks at his villa in Tulum. When she got back she brought me the deal. He put up 100% of the financial backing. He owns all the rights. It’s his picture.”

    “Tina you’ve been in the business long enough to know that you never give any one entity 100% control. Did Peggy and Max sign off on this?”

    “I’m the Studio Head Bette. I have full autonomy to make my own deals as long as I bring in the results. This movie is going to be a blockbuster.”

    “And William’s infatuation with Kate has worn off and now you’re being held responsible for making good on her promises?”

    “Something like that.”

    “Sounds like you’re in over your head Tee can’t you see that? Kate is manipulating the situation to her benefit. She’s using sex to belittle your authority and putting the onus on you to take full responsibility for the success of the film which she controls. If anything goes wrong you take the fall.”

    “Nothing is going to go wrong. That’s why I’m here overseeing every step.”

    “I don’t like this Tina.”

    “I don’t like it any more than you do but it’s what I do. It’s the nature of the movie business. Sometimes you take risks.”

    “Baby I don’t like you taking risks with your personal safety.”

    “Kate isn’t dangerous Bette.”

    “That’s what you keep saying. Just let me come up there for a weekend. I want to see for myself.”

    2. So glad that Bette has decided to take matters into her own hands and investigate that crazy little witch. Shades of adele and jodi. Glad her mess is about to come to a halt and in doing this I hope Bette can bring criminal charges and prevent the idiot from ever directing anything ever again. Let her crawl back under that rock she crawled from. And it will also put a stop to William as well. Love your continued nightly postings. Hope you’re feeling generous again tonight.     3. Tina is lucky that Kate has not been violent to this point. That’s probably about to change. At least the movie is wrapped up so it’s time to blow Kate Arden to smithereens.

    7. I’m still a little in the ‘bang heads’ mind set mode and find myself talking to Tina and Bette as I read. Sad really but glad Tina listened and told Bette. Equally I’m delighted Bette is now in kick ass mode.

    10. Come on Tina, get the hell away from that woman. Tina is naive to think that she can handle Kate alone. Her stubborn attitude is going to put her in danger; i.e. date rape or worse. I am not sure that she is the partner Bette needs. Tina needs to know that she has the world at her command with Bette. She can make her mark in the movie business and get to come home to Alex and Bette. I am glad that Bette is willing to use her “pull” to protect Tina. Hopefully she can get the dirt on William and Kate.

    12. Finally my comments/prayers were answered and Tina talk to Bette!
      Now is time for Bette to kick box Kate’s ass to some frozen lake in Canada.Then the thin ice is going to break and the biatch will be gone!!
      I hope Bette will surprise Tina at the wrap up party in time to put a stop on Kate’s plan to attack Tina.
