    Bette was getting exasperated at Tina’s stubbornness, but she could sense Tina losing patience with her too. It was late and they were both tired.

    “OK Tee I’ll drop it for now but please baby I’m here for whatever you need. Just say the word.”

    “Right now all I need is for you to help me relax. I’m getting into my bath. Just talk to me about anything. I just want to hear your voice.”

    Bette stayed on the phone with Tina for the next 30 minutes while she soaked in the lavender scented bath allowing all the pent up tension to finally leave her body. Bette lay back down in the bed next to Alex and focused on his breathing to relief her own tension. It was two thirty in the morning by the time she hung up with Tina but she couldn’t get to sleep. Tina’s revelation that she was being sexually harassed by fucking Kate Arden kept playing over and over in her mind. Tina might think that she could handle things on her own, but Bette knew better. She had to do something but she didn’t want to cause any further rift between her and Tina. She’d respect Tina’s wishes for the time being but she wasn’t going to just standby.

    Bette and Tina had become instant friends when they’d met at the Art Walk at Venice Beach. Less than a year later after only one ‘real weekend long date’ they found themselves in a committed relationship raising a child together. So even though they’d fallen into a comfort level the relationship was very new and they still had so much to learn about one another. They’d gotten over several hurdles in a very short time but had so much work ahead of them.

    2. So glad that Bette has decided to take matters into her own hands and investigate that crazy little witch. Shades of adele and jodi. Glad her mess is about to come to a halt and in doing this I hope Bette can bring criminal charges and prevent the idiot from ever directing anything ever again. Let her crawl back under that rock she crawled from. And it will also put a stop to William as well. Love your continued nightly postings. Hope you’re feeling generous again tonight.     3. Tina is lucky that Kate has not been violent to this point. That’s probably about to change. At least the movie is wrapped up so it’s time to blow Kate Arden to smithereens.

    7. I’m still a little in the ‘bang heads’ mind set mode and find myself talking to Tina and Bette as I read. Sad really but glad Tina listened and told Bette. Equally I’m delighted Bette is now in kick ass mode.

      So involved in this story, please keep up the posts.

      Oh and to answer your question – Yes Tina is being naïve.

    10. Come on Tina, get the hell away from that woman. Tina is naive to think that she can handle Kate alone. Her stubborn attitude is going to put her in danger; i.e. date rape or worse. I am not sure that she is the partner Bette needs. Tina needs to know that she has the world at her command with Bette. She can make her mark in the movie business and get to come home to Alex and Bette. I am glad that Bette is willing to use her “pull” to protect Tina. Hopefully she can get the dirt on William and Kate.

      Now is time for Bette to kick box Kate’s ass to some frozen lake in Canada.Then the thin ice is going to break and the biatch will be gone!!
      I hope Bette will surprise Tina at the wrap up party in time to put a stop on Kate’s plan to attack Tina.
