    ”Sure…” Shane smiled ”So what shift will you do tomorrow? I hope to see us in the operating rooms”

    ”Actually I’ll do the rounds with Helena… at least I’ll get to settle in a bit, being the head of neurosurgery, it’s a big responsibility.”

    ”Wow…so you also know Bette…” Alice said, then lowering her gaze to play with the shot of tequila

    ”Who is Bette? A doctor?”

    ”A patient..” Helena finished ”she…she is a dear friend, tomorrow I will explain the case to you…”

    ”Bette was a colleague” Shane said with sadness in his eyes.

    Tina looked at her ”she is a colleague” Alice corrected the verb and downed another shot ”let’s go…I have the night shift, I have to monitor so many mommies with so many green beans in their bellies” Alice laughed ”it was a pleasure Tina, whatever I have for you, even for Angie.”

    The blonde was hugged by Alice and so she and Helena left the bar.

    ”Shall I give you a ride?” the brunette asked

    ”no thanks, I took a car…then tomorrow morning at 8”

    ”yes…it will be hard Tina, but you are good and our hospital really needed you.”

    The tour started on time like clockwork, Peggy was in charge even though she was no longer practicing she led a group of first-time residents who were assigned according to the residents and their needs.

    Tina and Helena followed her with two cups of double coffee in their hands ”how was the trip to the hospital with Angie?” Helena whispered.

    ”good, but she had a cold this morning, temperature change…”

    Helena nodded smiling at a nurse who passed by in the hallway as they went in a group towards the elevators.

    ”wow … she’s crazy about you” Tina laughed

    ”she’s … sexy that’s all” Helena laughed flirtatiously

    ”and does she have a name?”

    ”Cassandra.” Peggy turned answering but blonde with a raised eyebrow that silenced both Tina and Helena.

    The two swallowed, the older woman’s gaze on them like a shadow of death.
    She approached with a furtive step, while the residents moved away in fear pretending to do something else, Tina bit her lip.

      I am confused as to why Tina decided to leave Toronto. She broke up with Arizona or Her company did not like the fact that she had a child, or because Helena wanted her to work at a really great hospital.?

      Is it normal for medical personal to have several drinks and then go to work at their normal shift? A Neonatal surgeon?

      I agree with Tina. There is no reason for a Neurosurgeon to be consulted on Bette’s case which is cardiac problems. The person who should be consulted is Bette. What are her expectations for her own medical care.

      Hopefully, some of these questions will be answered in future chapters.

        For Alice and her drinking at the bar I mentioned that they were toasting, but I didn’t really focus on what Alice was drinking, maybe a Coke?

        For the consultation, now it will become more of a relationship between Bette and Tina so yes, Tina from now on will be interested in Bette under the guise of being a doctor, but in reality it is much more than work for her.

      You mention tequila and shots several places and specifically in reference to Alice. Then Alice leaves to go work. Not someone I would want on my medical team. She definitely was drinking and then going off to perform medical care.

      And what exactly is “Helena Rise”?

      I’m liking this story already, so just a bit of chatter. First, you’ll find us readers to be faithful w/a voracious appetite for a creative Tibette saga!!

      Be warned we are suckers for cliffhangers and will feign displeasure with “more frequent & longer chapters. HeHeHe!!! Just pay us NO mind, and post whenya can.
