Bette had to let go.

Tina whispered ”I love you..” to Bette and a few seconds later she felt her tremble, letting go of the most unexpressed emotions.

Tina removed her fingers from Bette and caressed the lower part of her back, they were sweaty, tired, exhausted, but full of love.

Bette slid next to Tina without separating, instead pulling her close to her kissing her forehead softly, only then Tina saw some tears falling on Bette’s face and she gently brushed them away with her fingers smiling lovingly at her.

”they are tears of joy…I promise you..” Bette laughed embarrassed and Tina smiled back caressing her full lips with her thumb.

They just stared into each other’s eyes, they had never really done it like that and it was so beautiful.

”What are you thinking about?” Tina spoke softly, continuing to run her fingers over Bette’s body, their skin still warm wrapped in the green blankets of her bed.

Bette closed her lips thoughtfully then kissed Tina gently on the lips ”I’m scared of what will happen to me from now on, I’m confused about my life choices…”

Tina frowned.

”Not about this Tee… I’m not confused about us, I think I’ve shown you that.” Bette sighed as she saw Tina’s face relax ”work, my recovery in life… I see everything so far away now… I need to see things more clearly, that’s all”.

”You love your job…”

”Yes…but I didn’t think I’d do it anymore…”

”You miss your kids, I know.”

”That’s true.. I just have to trust myself. I’m seeing a therapist next week.”

”For what?”

”Peggy wants me to do it…they say that if you go through trauma and long hospital stays it helps…I’m doing it for her more than for me, she was like a mother.”

Tina nodded ”I’m happy then.”

Bette smiled ”God, I love you so much…I’m sorry I barged in here.”

”You don’t have to, I wanted this too, it’s just that with Angie…”

”You don’t have to think about it…” Bette reassured her, she knew that Angelcia was Tina’s first priority, that if they were really thinking about living together, Bette would be the one to move in. Living together?
