With the meeting adjourned, everyone leaves, giving funny looks toward the shocked Mitch as they leave.
Donald ”Mitch, a word with you.”
Everyone else has left the room.
Donald ”You do know why you’re being demoted, don’t you?”
Mitch ”I didn’t think she was qualified.”
Donald ”But you agreed with me on hiring Max.”
Mitch looks around.
Mitch ”I don’t know what to tell you, sir.”
Donald ”You don’t have to tell me a thing. You just need to clear out your desk. Don’t worry, I already have your cubicle waiting for you.”
Mitch ”My office…?”
Donald ”Former…office. You’re lucky to still be employed.”
Mitch nods with his eyes closed.
Mitch ”Understood, sir.”
Montreal.
Her name is Claude and her original plan was to visit Jenny in the United States. News of her being listed as one of those on board the ill-fated plane have caused her to go elsewhere. There is nothing waiting for her in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles, the Bel-Air.
It is a morbid thought as she contemplates so many at once. Perhaps she needs to stop reserving here as only bad things happen, either to herself or to others she cares about. Marina had planned on surprising Jenny as word had gotten out about Jenny’s book, Some Of Her Parts being released soon. Now it appears her reasons for visiting her former establishment will be different, more somber reasons. She picks up her cellphone and dials a number.

She sits in her office, sans any fake facial hair. The news is setting in. It had just been a brief topic of no consequence with Dax, but not it was something to be mourned on a personal level. The cellphone rings.
Ivan ”This is Ivan.”
Marina ”Ivan Aycock? This is Marina De La Francesca Ferrer.”
Ivan ”…This is about Kit, right?”
Marina ”Yes.”
Ivan sighs, shaking her head.
Ivan ”It’s sad. And not only that, but…I have no clue what I’m gonna do about The Planet.”
Marina ”I know. Kit was a very good person…with a big heart. If she wanted you as her business partner, then obviously it’s because she trusted you as well.”
Ivan ”…Yeah. It sucks…and I’m grieving…but at the same time, I’m dealing with the reality of having The Planet. I don’t know if Kit left her share of it to someone else or…if it’s all mine, which I don’t want. I’ve never felt comfortable having fifty-one percent of it, but that’s just how it came to be.”

so much going on in this chapter I know peggy identified Helena but has bette done the same with kit and tina are they all assumed dead and will there be any survivers pps
