Whit ”Missus Peabody, I’m very sorry about what happened.”
Peggy slowly shakes her head.
Peggy ”Whit…you’re a very dear individual. However, I really don’t wish to talk about it right now. I received a message from Winnie early this morning and I am going to call her soon. I have talked with crash investigators and had to see my daughter…in a state of which I never wanted to see her body. It’s been a very tough morning. What is it you wanted to show me?”
Whit points toward the peculiar box that had gotten his attention before.
Whit ”Inside that box is footage of what appears to be a documentary, along with a video tape which I already have ready to play.”
Whit is holding a remote control. He turns the television on and presses the Play button to activate the tape in question. Peggy and Whit watch. They see Dylan making her confession about working with Danny in order to work over Helena. There is also a confession of love from Dylan for Helena, but Peggy is unmoved by it.
Peggy ”Turn it off.”
Whit hits stop and presses the Rewind button. With the tape wound back to the beginning, Whit ejects the tape and turns the television off.
Whit ”There’s more, but perhaps at a better time. In short, Dylan Moreland is painting herself as a victim of Danny Wilson’s manipulation.”
Peggy ”They fucked my daughter over. My daughter died with a broken heart.”
Peggy looks at Whit.
Peggy ”Hell hath no fury like Peggy Peabody.”
Later in the evening. Jenny’s.
Bette and Shane have already left for The Planet with Carmen and Lara staying behind to look after Angelica. There is a knock on the door. Carmen answers the door and sees a familiar face from her time in Whistler. With the face is also a child.
Carmen ”…Hi.”
Carla ”Hi, Carmen.”
Carmen looks at the child.
Carla ”This is my son, Shay.”
Carmen is shocked to see her.
Carmen ”Come on in…”
The Planet.
It has closed for the evening so the matters at hand can be discussed. At the table are Bette, Ivan, Marina, Joyce serving as Bette’s lawyer, Peggy, her lawyer, Whit, as well as Donald from InTechMode, and Shane. It is a discussion of grief, but also business and the upcoming memorial service as well as the upcoming funerals.
Jenny’s.
Carla ”That’s sad about everything that’s happened. And us showing up probably doesn’t make anything easier.”
Lara ”Where are you staying?”
Carla ”Nowhere.”
Carmen ”You just left, too?”
Carla ”I don’t know if I want to go back to Oregon City and bring my son back into that. He’s been through of Gabe’s shenanigans already.”
Carmen ”You’re um…welcome to stay here for now. I don’t think Shane would mind either. …I remember her being happy to meet her little brother.”
Carla ”I was here to see Shane, but…”
Lara ”Do you have somewhere else to go? A place to stay?”
Carla ”No.”
Carmen ”You do now. Please stay…at least for now.”
Carla looks at Shay, who only shrugs.
Outside.
Shane walks away from The Planet as business finishes up. She was happy to see Marina again, though not under these circumstances. She is now on her cellphone.
Shane ”Hey, Cherie.”
Shane listens.
Shane ”Yeah, we’re pretty much just…tryin’ to get through everything. I promise to talk with you a little longer, but…I just wanna get back home and collapse in bed.”
Shane listens.
Shane ”Okay. Bye.”
The door opens and Shane enters.
Shane ”They’re pretty much just wrappin’ up business.”
Shane looks to see her little brother Shay looking back at her. She sees Carla there with Lara, Carmen, and baby Angelica. Shane is confused.
Shay ”Hey, Shane.”
Carmen ”They’re staying here a while.”
Cherie’s.
She has hung up the phone and goes back to curling up on the couch. There are no friends. There are no visitors. There is only loneliness for Cherie and it is a feeling she can no longer ignore with wild parties. The crash is affecting different people and Cherie as it turns out, is among those feeling that effect.

so much going on in this chapter I know peggy identified Helena but has bette done the same with kit and tina are they all assumed dead and will there be any survivers pps
