She stood looking at the long slim figure of her girlfriend – how was it possible to look SO good all of the time? Bette was simply the most beautiful woman Tina had ever set eyes on. It still made her shake with anticipation that this figure of perfection was hers. Touching her was a delight and every day she felt the same.
“What are you thinking? “ Bette asked opening her eyes and seeing Tina standing watching her
“Oh just that you ate way too much over Christmas and you’re getting podgy “
Tina said trying to look serious. Bette’s hands instantly went to her stomach which was as flat as always. She lifted her sweater and touched her belly.
“Do you think so? “
“Yeah – definite paunch there “Tina was fighting to keep a straight face. Bette looked at her and realised she was being teased.
“I could seriously go off you Kennard – that was mean “
“What I WAS thinking “Tina said joining Bette on the sofa and putting her hand where Bette’s had been “was that you are so beautiful and I cannot believe how blessed I am to wake up beside you every morning. You have no idea how sexy you are “
“I only want to be sexy for one person and that person is you “
“Trust me B – I’m not the only person who sees you as gorgeous “
Tina let her fingers dance across Bette’s perfectly flat stomach as their lips moved together. Bette rested her fingers against Tina’s lips
“The take away is due in 15 minutes so restrain yourself for now “
“Shame – it’s been a couple of days since we made out “

I can see both sides of it. Right now I’m not comfortable with walking around holding hands with a woman or whatever. But eventually I have to deal with it, right?
Wish I’d found a Bette at university. Wouldn’t have minded a Melvin and Peggy, either.
I understand Bettes point of view, but she is still young and inexperienced – with time and love she will move on….and nobody is better than Tina to do it with!! Great story Ally – BTW what happened to Dylan visiting Helena for Christmas?? Helena deserves to be happy too (now that she is doing her homework LOL) More please…
Ah, they both deserve each other. And if Bette has any problems with verbalizing her desires and needs in public, I can help her with that.

I have to say I’m with Tina on this one. I know it’s hard to get comfortable being the ‘other,’ but if you love your partner enough… you should want to show people that that love isn’t any different than theirs.
i agree, it’s been too long. They should go to their home and have sex right away….LOL
