Chapter 10
The next day, Tina was still kind of bummed, but better than yesterday, thanks to Bette. Bette had stayed through dinner and a while after, just hanging out with Tina. They talked, they laughed, they just generally had a good time. Dana was always in the back of Tina’s mind, but having Bette there made it better, especially with the constant reassurance that Alice would help fix it on Monday.
Later that night, when Eric called, Tina relented and said she would have a quick lunch with him. Hopefully, she could make a decision on whether to continue to explore the relationship, or cut it off then and there.
It was now about that time, and Tina was checking herself in the mirror again, hoping that she looked okay. After going down her appearance checklist, Tina grabbed her purse and went into the living room, where Samantha sat, reading a book. When Tina entered, she put the book on her lap. "Hey, another date with Romeo?"
"Sort of." Tina said, plopping down next to Samantha. "Where’s Mom?"
"She took Jagger for a walk."
"Man, he is walking a lot these days."
"Yeah. So, how is Romeo anyway? You never fully disclosed anything." Sammy said, smacking Tina on the thigh. "I want all the juicy details. Did you guys kiss?"
Tina nodded. "Yes we kissed."
After waiting a second, Samantha couldn’t take it anymore. "And? Well, how was he?"
"He’s a good kisser"
Samantha could tell there was something more to it. "But…"
Tina shrugged. "I don’t know. I didn’t feel anything. It felt like an obligation more than something I really wanted."
"Oh, that’s never good." Samantha said. "So what are you doing going to lunch with the guy?"
"Everyone deserves a second chance."
"And if it doesn’t work out?"
"Then it doesn’t work out."
"Well, I’ll be here if you need a ride home." Samantha teased.
"Thanks a bunch." Tina said, smacking her sister on the arm.
Then, the doorbell began to ring and Tina got up. "That’s him. Wish me luck."
"Good luck." Samantha exhaled, focusing her attentions back to her book.
"Hi." Tina exhaled as she opened the door.
"Hi." Eric echoed, leaning in for a kiss. Tina accepted it, pulling away after a few seconds. Nothing…this isn’t starting off very well.

I think I’d rather swallow broken glass than finish watching S3. Correction, I think I now know what swallowing broken glass is like due to S3. Awesome chapter as always, Manda! Tina, your almost at the end of the “Bette is the right person for you” marathon. Make it happen! Much respect for this story Manda.
I like the young version of Bette and Tina. I hope that Tina does call Bette to come over. I am also glad that Bette waited for Tina to make her own decision about scuzzy Eric.

Well Tina did the rigth thing cause Romeo does not worth. I hope Bette and Tina talk about this and about her actuals feelings
