    Bette’s POV
    Before the alarm went off, Bette was awake. She was excited. She would spend the day or most of the day, with Tina. It was along time ago that Bette felt like this. She jumped out of bed and took a shower, taking her time, washing her hair. When she finished, she walked to her closet. What would she wear………..?
    Not too neat but not too casual. Finally she made her choice. While she put on her clothes she was smiling. When was the last time she was nervous about her clothes or how she’d wear her hair?
    “Relax Bette, it’s just a tour around the neighborhood with a friend.” Because Bette was sure that she and Tina would become friends.
    She was thrilled when Tina told her that she didn’t have a boyfriend. But who said that not having a boyfriend made her gay. What if she wasn’t gay but straight and just happen to be single at the moment? Bette didn’t want to think about that thought too long. Just the thought that some else would kiss or be intimate with Tina made her nauseous.

    “Snap out of it, Bette. You’re going to have a pleasant day with a nice, no beautiful person. Just enjoy that thought.”

    Bette walked out of the house, forgetting about what Tina said about the shopping bags. Ten minutes before eight she arrived at the grocery store. She didn’t expect Tina to be there. She was in time…………Ten minutes later, she heard that beautiful voice again.

    “Hi, I hope I didn’t make you wait too long.”

    “No, I was early, too hype.”

    “Really, why, you wanna share?”

    Bette looked at Tina. Was she serious? Should she tell Tina that she was excited because she’d spend the day with her? Okay, Tina had a sense of humor. Let’s see how far she could take it.

    “Well it’s not an everyday thing to hang out with a gorgeous woman like you, so yes, I’m excited!”

    “Cool, that makes two of us.” Tina hooked her arm into Bette’s. This time ignoring the jolt they bothe felt again…………Bette was speecheless. She didn’t expected this answer, so Bette didn’t say anything and enjoyed the fact that she and Tina walked arm-in-arm.
