    The ones where Tina and Angie gets better and Bette takes a trip

    “So did she get freaked by the end of the movie ?”

    “I wasn’t going to see what happened – lucky she’s still feeling run down so we all snuggled up and she soon fell asleep. Bette was so apologetic “

    “Does Bette doubt how she is as a mom ?”

    “Yeah – this goes back to when we were together – she was having a lot of doubts about . It what she was going to be like as a mom – I never had any doubts about what sort of mom she would be but she was terrified.”

    “And what sort of mommy is she ?”

    “Fantastic – she spoils Angie – but then she also spoils me. Bette has so much love in her – she couldn’t fail to be a good mom. She’s got nothing to compare with – she never saw any of you with Angie. Maybe she thinks I am spinning her a line but I swear I am not. Angie has never been so trusting and utterly devoted to anyone like she is with Bette. I love seeing it”

    “Do you get jealous ?”

    “No – what I do get is huge doses of guilt – Bette should have been there when Angie was born and she should have been a part of everything. It doesn’t bother Angie but it gnaws away at me “

    “Its catching – I nailed Alice last week – she’s been avoiding me since you stormed out of The Planet and I told them all what I thought of them. Well last week I ran her down to her hide out and I faced her down about it “

    “And ?”

    “Guilt – she was hurt by what Bette did to you and she didn’t know how to be friends with both of you and Bette needed to be punished “

    “Bette needed someone to understand what she had done and why “

    “I keep wondering what would have happened if I’d gone to her when everyone else was rallying around you. Maybe I could have stopped her from leaving – maybe I could have made everything different. I am sorry that I failed her “

    Tina rubbed her eyes – this was still playing on her mind – would she ever feel free of the guilt. Bette had suffered for what she had done and Tina had never made amends for her part in the downfall of their relationship
