Tina had only glanced furtively at the new arrival but it had been enough for her to notice, the resplendent woman, her casual but incredibly seductive attire, a simple pair of blue jeans complete with trendy tears and a form fitting white shirt which revealed a toned and lithe body and offered a striking contrast to her warm mocha skin. She may only have sat a couple of seat away but her presence was already palpable in the otherwise deserted lounge, her perfume taking momentarily hold as the prime scent in the open area.
Her heart skipped a beat and Tina turned to smother a smile of quiet approval, skilfully hiding her expression by popping a gummy bear into her mouth as her eyes lifted once more to sneakily take in the new arrival before demurely returning to the pages of her book. Her attention was however no longer held by the printed words but more by the body a few feet away from her. She was totally delighted by her recent discovery.
Chewing on her gummy bear which she knew was not one of her preferred red ones, she wondered, now totally distracted, if the two of them might start a conversation.
It did not escape Bette’s keen sense of observation that the blonde traveller had glanced, not once but twice, in her direction. Deep down, she hoped that her imagination had not played a trick on her.
Bette knew she was a beautiful woman but had always endeavoured to not let this factor dictate the direction her love life took. Maybe it was for this reason that she had been single for such a long time. Her mind was equally as attractive as her physical beauty but very few were interested in finding out this fact. She pulled her own book out of her bag and gracefully crossing her legs, she removed the boarding pass she used as a book mark and started reading. Well, her eyes were fixated on the rows of words but her mind was elsewhere. Two seats away to be quite precise, exactly where the blonde business woman was sitting.
The two sat in silence for a few minutes, seemingly concentrated on their books but keeping a mental eye on the other presence in the lounge.

kins…did I ever tell you how much I adore and love your writing? I truly do…I can’t wait for the multi-chapter story.
Girl, you can spin a story. You are awesome
Kins40, will you marry me?
Damn…..kins you come out of nowhere and just rock my world like this, only to leave for god knows how long. I don’t care just as long as you keep coming back. Now that is a characteristic of a player LOL ;@)
I forgot my offering of the number 14. Thanks for including me. 14 is special to me because in a few short days my partner and I will celebrate 25 years together on September 14th. How appropriate that you would choose now to include my number. I know I have gushed over your writing before. I continue to adore you. T
Wonderful. Absolutely “freakin” beautiful. Thank you
