“Well I definitely give you permission to fold everything up and move it out of the way since I won’t be there for awhile”

“Hey Bette..We have Tina on the phone”  Karen announced giving Bette a smirk

Bette shot her a glare and mouthed “Don’t you dare” causing Karen to stifle her laugh

“Hey” Tina said rather shyly

“Hey” Bette replied softly

Tina sighed figuring she should go and let the three of them talk “Well I’m heading back to the hotel.  Karen I will keep checking in with you.  Greg you better take care of her.  And Bette.  I’ll save you a seat by me on the bus.  Bye guys”. Tina said before ending the call

Greg turned to Bette “She’ll save you a seat?”

Karen finally was able to let out her giggle

Bette scoffs “You two are ridiculous”

“Bette you do know she is single right.  You are single.  And you have made it no secret of your celebrity crush on her” Karen retorted

“Like she is really going to go for me. A dancer?”

“Well Madonna dated her backup dancers” Karen said watching Bette roll her eyes

“Yeah and how many of those relationships lasted?”

Karen shrugged “Well you have a point  But I have gotten to know Tina pretty well and I think you impressed her”

“Well she did want me to go on tour with her so I guess I wasn’t terrible”

Karen scoffed “Bette if I could get out of this bed and slap you I would.  You know your dancing is incredible. And I wasn’t talking about your dancing”

Bette waved her off “Shut it Fields”

Greg interjected “You two are giving me a headache”

“Bette all I’m saying is this happened for a reason.  You get to go on tour with the woman of your dreams and I get to have the man of my dreams take care of me after my Achilles surgery” she says looking lovingly at Greg who smiles and kisses her hand

Bette gasped “What?”

Karen sighed “Yeah I ruptured my Achilles”

“Oh fuck Karen..I’m so sorry..I feel so guilty now” Bette said burying her head in her hands”

“Stop with the guilt Porter.  It’s business..It happens..And don’t think I don’t know you faked your illness to get out of going to tryouts with me for Tina’s tour” Karen said pointing her finger at Bette
