    “Not until you answer my question” Bette smirked as she noticed the logo on the paper in her hands. Her eyes widened with excitement, “No way, they opened a Taco Bell around here?” “Yeah, right next to the Dairy Queen. Jeremy Pine works there, he says hi by the way” Tina winked. Bette nearly shuddered

    “Not until you answer my question” Bette smirked as she noticed the logo on the paper in her hands. Her eyes widened with excitement, “No way, they opened a Taco Bell around here?”

    “Yeah, right next to the Dairy Queen. Jeremy Pine works there, he says hi by the way” Tina winked.

    Bette nearly shuddered at the sound of Jeremy’s name, memories of a party she attended in junior high school flashing in her mind. She had been playing spin the bottle with a group of classmates, Jeremy and Tina included. In her attempt to get the bottle to land on Tina, Bette remembered the sinking feeling she’d experienced when it landed on Jeremy instead. It had been the longest half a second kiss of Bette’s life. Jeremy had been in love with the brunette ever since.

    “You know why I didn’t answer” Tina spoke softly, deciding to get them back on track. She knew that Bette wouldn’t let the matter drop and the blonde didn’t plan to spend the night out on the porch.

    “‘Cause you were out with Emma. Yeah I get that” Bette looked down to the wrapper crumbled in her hands before meeting Tina’s eyes, “But she came back to the hotel hours ago. You had plenty of time to reach out to me”

    “Maybe I just needed time, Bette” Tina hell out her arms at her sides before letting them fall, her hands slapping against her thighs. “Maybe after planning a party with your girlfriend and hearing how happy she is with you, I took a very large to-go cup of Mama Spencer’s moonshine, met up with Lara and maybe, just maybe ended up at The Black Cat where I broke Kristen Sawyer’s record on the mechanical bull”

    Stunned with the amount of new information, Bette handed the taco over wordlessly and watched as Tina snatched it out of her hands. She waited a moment as the information sunk in, one thing in particular sticking out for her.

    “You were with Lara?”

    Tina rolled her eyes as she struggled to chew the large amount of food in her mouth. After giving up on waiting until she had completely swallowed her food, she spoke through a semi-full mouth.

    “Yeah, she and Dana had some kind of fight. Lara was really upset”

    1. Now we have a bigger mess….Brenda has hope that there is a chance with Tina. Tina wants Bette badly but is wondering if she will truly breakup with Emma. Emma is in some self-centered world in which she views Bette as her most adoring fan. And Bette is afraid that someone’s feelings are going to be hurt. News flash…seldom can two people end a relationship without one of the parties being hurt. So, Bette, if you really want to be with Tina, you need to just break up with Emma… just do it. As time goes by it will not get easier.

    4. Sorry to hear about your troubles and your bronchitis!

      Can we move the party fast forward or better, Bette has to break up with Emma ASAP!!!! She will be hurt anyway and B&T are hurting too.

      Emma thinks she was clever to invite Brenda and that stupid bitch still thinks she can pursue Tina.

      The party will be torture for B&T and for us readers.

    5. In last two chapters i really can’t decide is Emma a very narcissistic and absolutely not playing attention on anybody else besides herself, or she just dumb.
      I guess we’ll find out in next updates.
      By the way – thank you for the chapter!

I feel the love.. do do wish Bette would just tell Emma… this my back fire and it seems more cruel to go through with the party pretending especial if she has friends coming..now your bringing Breada back into the mix Jesus. But I see the drama your creating, it a fun read..they all seem to have a touch of Alice in them lol.. Emma so blind but i had a feeling she my be the devil if poked hard enough.. thank you sorry so late reading..
