    “Listen about Brenda. I don’t think it’s such a good idea-” “Oh come on Tina, that girl is into you. She’s hot, you’re hot. Don’t read into it and just have fun. You’ll thank me later” With that she was off, leaving the blonde with her mouth open, yet another objection trapped in her throat.

    How did she get into such messes?

    With a heavy sigh she leaned back in her seat, her eyes on the cup of moonshine sitting on the table in front of her. She grabbed it and held it up for Mama Spencer to see, “Can I get this to go?”

    “Oops”

    Tina giggled as she bent over to pick up the keys she had dropped on her front porch, her drunken state ensuring the task was done without the blonde’s usual grace. After a moment or two, Tina was successfully back on two feet with a wide saucy smile on her reddened face.

    “That must have been some lunch”

    Tina screamed and threw the bunched up paper in her other hand at the sound of the voice, recognizing the owner at the moment of impact.

    “You scared me, you jerk! What are you doing here?”

    Bette laughed from her seat on the porch railing, the crumbled paper cradled against her chest. She looked down with a quizzical eyebrow raised as she noticed the small pieces of lettuce and tomato poking out and shifted the paper around for a better look inside.

    “Is this a taco? Did you just throw a taco at me?”

    “It was all I had” Tina replied defensively as she crossed her arms over her chest. She suddenly felt much more sober than she had been just a few seconds earlier, figuring a good scare would have that effect. “You could have been a serial killer, I wasn’t about to throw you the keys to my house”

    “Fair point” Bette chuckled, pulling the half-eaten taco out of Tina’s reach when the blonde moved in to reclaim it. “Not until you tell me why you didn’t reply to any of my texts all day”

    “Guess that answers my ‘what are you doing here?’ question” Tina muttered with a roll of her eyes as she reached for the taco again and growled when it was pulled out of reach once more. “Come on Bette, I’m hungry!”

    1. Now we have a bigger mess….Brenda has hope that there is a chance with Tina. Tina wants Bette badly but is wondering if she will truly breakup with Emma. Emma is in some self-centered world in which she views Bette as her most adoring fan. And Bette is afraid that someone’s feelings are going to be hurt. News flash…seldom can two people end a relationship without one of the parties being hurt. So, Bette, if you really want to be with Tina, you need to just break up with Emma… just do it. As time goes by it will not get easier.

    4. Sorry to hear about your troubles and your bronchitis!

      Can we move the party fast forward or better, Bette has to break up with Emma ASAP!!!! She will be hurt anyway and B&T are hurting too.

      Emma thinks she was clever to invite Brenda and that stupid bitch still thinks she can pursue Tina.

      The party will be torture for B&T and for us readers.

    5. In last two chapters i really can’t decide is Emma a very narcissistic and absolutely not playing attention on anybody else besides herself, or she just dumb.
      I guess we’ll find out in next updates.
      By the way – thank you for the chapter!

I feel the love.. do do wish Bette would just tell Emma… this my back fire and it seems more cruel to go through with the party pretending especial if she has friends coming..now your bringing Breada back into the mix Jesus. But I see the drama your creating, it a fun read..they all seem to have a touch of Alice in them lol.. Emma so blind but i had a feeling she my be the devil if poked hard enough.. thank you sorry so late reading..
