“Well, when you put it that way… Yes, she stayed with me until Tuesday and I… I don’t know where this is going but Joan, I can tell you right now… I’m so falling for her” Bette simply admitted, finally lowering her defenses, like afraid that if she said it outloud then Tina would somehow vanish from her life and she would realize that it was all just a dream.

“I so knew it! And Bette… I couldn’t possibly be happier for you. It was about damn time if you ask me” Joan sincerely said and quicky went around the kitchen isle to hug her friend. “Now, about this amazing dish you just made, walk me through it?” She changed the subject and Bette looked thankful at her sous chef for she wasn’t prepared to answer anything else after such an admision.

“It’s so easy, you won’t believe it…”

Meanwhile in another part of LA called The Planet.

“So when do you think is the right time to call her?” Tina asked her friends truly annoyed, not at someone in particular but really aggravated at time itself. She couldn’t quite believe how anxious she was to at least hear the brunette’s voice over the phone again.

At that time Dana just rolled her eyes and Shane softly giggled.

“What…” The blonde said more than asked.

“TK, you really have it bad” Shane said laughing at ther puzzled and at the same time frustrated friend.

“Yeap” Was all Dana added.

“I’m sorry guys, I guess I am a bit anxious” Tina said in apologetic tone, ralizing that she was most likely making her friends miserable.

“A bit?” Dana asked sarcastically.

“Well, what Dana is trying to say here” Shane said giving the brunette a disaproving look before continuing. “is that you seem really anxious and you know… you could start by stop staring at the doors of this fine establishment” The small brunette added represing a smile.

“You’re right…” Tina said inhaling and exhaling a big amount of air. “I just don’t understand how is it possible for me to be like this… you know me, I don’t get so…” Tina was searching for the right words to describe how she was feeling at that moment.

“Hooked?” Dana said.

“Yeah… so fucking hooked” Tina shyly admitted.

“I’m sorry to tell you TK but… there isn’t any logical explanation, you just feel it and that’s about it” Dana elaborated further this time and Shane could not stop smiling.

“We spent three days Dane… just three days, this has never happened to me before and I… I’m afraid I’ll…” But the blonde couldn’t finish her thought.

“You’re afraid that what you are feeling is due to the novelty of it all rather than a real connection” Shane said really confidently and her blonde friend took a moment to think about her response.

“No… yes… I don’t know, I don’t think that it’s just one thing that I am afraid of. Sure there is that, but also I am afraid that she will soon find out how dumb I can be or that another more experienced woman is gonna cross paths with her and she’ll just see that all in all I am still an amateur at this…” Tina was speaking a mile a minute.

“TK stop… you gotta stop” Shane interrupted her friend. “First of all, breathe…” She commanded as she placed one of her hands on top of Tina’s and gently gave it a squeeze. “Okay, so here’s the thing, what you are experiencing is called… falling for someone, now you may not know it just yet but all of these doubts and fears you have are nothing but normal” She added again smiling broadly.

Tina thought about what her friend had just told her for a few seconds and the she looked at Dana.

“I think that for the first time in like… ever… I agree with this one here” The slim brunette said also smiling broadly.

“Damn it” Tina said above a breath and lowered her gaze for she truly had never felt so powerless in all her adult life.
