Carmen just shook her head at Alice’s demeanor and continued, “Well, apparently, information about my girlfriend didn’t stop her from flirting with me and this is when she flashed her badge and told me, in hopes of impressing me I guess, that she works for some government law enforcement agency and that she’s here on a secret official business.”

“What did you say to that?” Bette asked anxiously, thinking about Friday night. Tina tightened her hold on Bette’s hand and squeezed it softly.

“All I said was, ‘cool, and my girlfriend is a hairdresser and I spend all my breaks giving her a lapdance’,” Carmen said, blushing at the memory.

Bette spilled her coffee and raised her brows at Tina, “Lapdance?”

“Alice, what’s wrong with you this morning?” Tina asked with concern.

“Okay, fine…I miss Dana,” Alice admitted reluctantly.
