Elizabeth knew that she missed Katie terribly. Her older, beautiful, and very talented half-sister was always perfect in Elizabeth’s eyes and became a pillar of strength, love and comfort for Elizabeth. Especially during her childhood, because Melvin was constantly going away on business trips and Maxine was preoccupied with her charitable and educational projects.
Elizabeth was really happy, knowing that Katie wouldn’t be moving far, just 50 miles away from their hometown, but not having her in the house everyday, hear her singing in the garden, or comforting Elizabeth during heavy rain storms was something Elizabeth wasn’t ready to accept.
Even now, almost 26 years old, Elizabeth still feared the lighting and thunderstorms, and she wished that her relationship with Katie would always stay the same. Knowing that she wouldn’t have it for much longer, Elizabeth decided to spend as much time as possible with Katie before her wedding, so she would always treasure and remember the happiest times with her sister.
September passed quickly with raining, chores, preparations for the wedding and the art festival, which was planned for the last week in October. Elizabeth and Christina kept themselves really busy, painting every day. Elizabeth wanted to finish at least ten paintings for the art festival and a special one for Katie for her upcoming wedding.
While working with Christina, Elizabeth realized why she was feeling so passionate for art, particularly for painting. By doing that, she was free to convey her feelings, free to be herself, free to pour her emotions onto the canvas through colors, expressions, or subject matter.
She didn’t understand it before and that’s why it was hard for her to paint a portrait. Her emotions and feelings were still locked inside. She thought that Eric had unlocked them when she imagined herself being in love for the first time but his attempt to rape her made these feelings crawl back into their emotional cocoon without any desire to get out.
Finally, it occurred to Elizabeth that Christina somehow penetrated the thick walls of that cocoon and the feelings that were kept so tightly inside began pouring out from everywhere. But the most amazing thing about it was that Elizabeth actually enjoyed it tremendously. She couldn’t wait to paint to express all these emotions that were so freely rushing out of her, and she didn’t want to stop them.

OK, now what do you mean ” this story doesn’t attract many readers ” ? How is that possible ? Are you sure you’ve been “promoting” this fic right ( lol ! ) ? I mean, seriously, I’m genuinely shocked to read this. I love this story, I really do and I find it very enthralling… And everytime you post an update, after reading it I find myself thinking : ” damn it, this is so short !!! She can’t do this to us ! This is called “torture”, B&TF ! ”
OMG that was definitely a cliff hanger! Did Eric get out somehow and made Bette pay for his arrest? Can’t wait until your next update…you have my interest in this story!
Bette seems to have died a horrible death. I hope that they can find that love again in a safer time period.

LOL… Okay, now, who is the big tease???… Ahahah… This story is getting better and better. I’ve always loved slow building and unconventional Tibette stories, and gotta say that I’m served with this one! I love this, B&TF, and I can’t wait to see what happens next and to follow the adventures of Chris(Tina) and Eliza(Bette). I think you have great stuff in store, and this is getting really exciting. I wonder how Bette died, and I can only speculate about how B&T will finally meet. Oh, and this thingie with Alice is more than intriguing… Thanks for everything (not only talking about the fic) and please, please, please, continue reposting this fic, pretty please! K ;)
This story is amazing despite what you might think my talented friend, you wrote it incredibly as a beginner and now look at you, you are one of the biggest and most talented writers on the site with the mistakes and without them, you are what you are Hun and we love you for that. Thank you for this beautiful chapter, believe me any chapter that has Bette and Tina in it turns out to be amazing and so full of everything.
