Elizabeth really enjoyed these days, especially because the happy feelings she had while spending time with her friends seem to completely replace any remains of sadness or anger she still felt about the situation with Eric.
Christina firmly occupied Elizabeth’s mind and she sincerely believed that it was only because of her kind and loving nature and their growing friendship. With more time passed, though, Elizabeth began to wonder if there was something more to the attraction she felt towards Christina.
Every time their hands accidentally touched, or when they were hugging each other when departing for the evening after a day of a hard work, Elizabeth always felt some unexpected feelings and emotions passing through her and making her heart beat faster.
She wondered if Christina felt the same or at least noticed what effect she had on her. Elizabeth couldn’t explain it or even describe it, so she decided to stop dwelling on it and just take one day at a time.
About a week before the wedding, later in the afternoon Christina told Elizabeth that she was feeling a little tired and wanted to take a break, giving Alicia a chance to prepare fresh brushes and mixed some paints.
Having been encouraged by Christina and feeling an unusual desire to follow her heart and intuition, Elizabeth had finally decided to paint her mother’s portrait and already wasted three absolutely new canvases because she was not satisfied with the outcome. She felt exhausted, as well and gladly agreed with Christina to take a break.
They went to the garden and proceeded to what had been Elizabeth’s favorite pavilion. All the memories of that repulsive night with Eric gradually faded away by now and Elizabeth again began to enjoy these little outings in the garden. She asked Sarah to bring them some tea and biscuits and leisurely settled down on a cushion, keeping a small talk with Christina.
The tea arrived and the girls took pleasure in its flavor and comfortable silence, relaxing and enjoying their break. Elizabeth noticed that Christina kept glancing at her but as soon as she saw Elizabeth looking back, she would avert her eyes and wouldn’t say anything.

OK, now what do you mean ” this story doesn’t attract many readers ” ? How is that possible ? Are you sure you’ve been “promoting” this fic right ( lol ! ) ? I mean, seriously, I’m genuinely shocked to read this. I love this story, I really do and I find it very enthralling… And everytime you post an update, after reading it I find myself thinking : ” damn it, this is so short !!! She can’t do this to us ! This is called “torture”, B&TF ! ”
OMG that was definitely a cliff hanger! Did Eric get out somehow and made Bette pay for his arrest? Can’t wait until your next update…you have my interest in this story!
Bette seems to have died a horrible death. I hope that they can find that love again in a safer time period.

LOL… Okay, now, who is the big tease???… Ahahah… This story is getting better and better. I’ve always loved slow building and unconventional Tibette stories, and gotta say that I’m served with this one! I love this, B&TF, and I can’t wait to see what happens next and to follow the adventures of Chris(Tina) and Eliza(Bette). I think you have great stuff in store, and this is getting really exciting. I wonder how Bette died, and I can only speculate about how B&T will finally meet. Oh, and this thingie with Alice is more than intriguing… Thanks for everything (not only talking about the fic) and please, please, please, continue reposting this fic, pretty please! K ;)
This story is amazing despite what you might think my talented friend, you wrote it incredibly as a beginner and now look at you, you are one of the biggest and most talented writers on the site with the mistakes and without them, you are what you are Hun and we love you for that. Thank you for this beautiful chapter, believe me any chapter that has Bette and Tina in it turns out to be amazing and so full of everything.
