The day of the wedding was getting nearer and Elizabeth finally finished the painting she envisioned for Katie as her wedding gift. She was still a little hesitant to paint portraits, and as a perfectionist, Elizabeth wanted to give it her all, to pour out her soul onto that canvas.
Until she could feel that confidence within herself, she wouldn’t be ready to reflect her emotions in the form of a lifeless human portrait. The desire was there, but the strength to let it all go and paint freely was still gathering inside of her.
Knowing that, Elizabeth decided to paint their house for her wedding present to Katie. She wanted to give it to her beloved sister as a reminder of their happy childhood and adulthood, of countless moments of laughter and tears, fears and hopes, sleepless nights and idle Sunday afternoons. It took Elizabeth almost two weeks to finish the painting because she wanted Katie to fall in love with it and always be a reminder of her Lizzie.
The painting was so beautiful that even Alicia, who claimed to have no experience or any knowledge of art whatsoever, couldn’t stop asking Elizabeth to show it to her before she has to give it away on the ‘big day.’
“I wish you could make another one, just like that, Bette,” she told Elizabeth one day, staring at the painting, “So you can hang it at your house, bedroom maybe, and we can all continue to admire it.”
“Even if I’ll try to paint another one,” Elizabeth answered shaking her head in amusement, “It would take me another two weeks and I don’t have time. I still have to paint some others for the art festival and we don’t have much time. Christina is already exhausted from all the pressure I’m putting on her. Besides, I could never make an exact replica of that painting. How do you ever come up with your ideas?”
“I have no idea,” replied Alicia joyfully, covering the canvas with a white sheet and proceeding to wash the brushes and mixing more paints as Elizabeth and Christina were about to start another crazy day full of laughter, painting and friendly conversations.

OK, now what do you mean ” this story doesn’t attract many readers ” ? How is that possible ? Are you sure you’ve been “promoting” this fic right ( lol ! ) ? I mean, seriously, I’m genuinely shocked to read this. I love this story, I really do and I find it very enthralling… And everytime you post an update, after reading it I find myself thinking : ” damn it, this is so short !!! She can’t do this to us ! This is called “torture”, B&TF ! ”
OMG that was definitely a cliff hanger! Did Eric get out somehow and made Bette pay for his arrest? Can’t wait until your next update…you have my interest in this story!
Bette seems to have died a horrible death. I hope that they can find that love again in a safer time period.

LOL… Okay, now, who is the big tease???… Ahahah… This story is getting better and better. I’ve always loved slow building and unconventional Tibette stories, and gotta say that I’m served with this one! I love this, B&TF, and I can’t wait to see what happens next and to follow the adventures of Chris(Tina) and Eliza(Bette). I think you have great stuff in store, and this is getting really exciting. I wonder how Bette died, and I can only speculate about how B&T will finally meet. Oh, and this thingie with Alice is more than intriguing… Thanks for everything (not only talking about the fic) and please, please, please, continue reposting this fic, pretty please! K ;)
This story is amazing despite what you might think my talented friend, you wrote it incredibly as a beginner and now look at you, you are one of the biggest and most talented writers on the site with the mistakes and without them, you are what you are Hun and we love you for that. Thank you for this beautiful chapter, believe me any chapter that has Bette and Tina in it turns out to be amazing and so full of everything.
