Pieces of Time, Chapter V
“And that is something we are not giving them.” Tina cuts in.
—-
“You remember what it was like, T.”
“I do.” Tina turns her body in my direction.
“We are just going to have to take it more slowly with Angelica.”
Tina nods.
“I have an idea. Maybe some time this week, I come with you guys. Just to show Angelica and Cole that there is no hate. We can help them cope with this better.”
“You want to plan a day with me, Danielle and the kid’s?”
“If that is ok with you, T?”
“Sure.” I nod. “Sounds like a brilliant plan.”
“I always have them.” I wink at her and turn towards the door.
“I guess I’ll talk to Danielle about this and we will plan a day.”
I nod my head in agreement. “Sounds great.”
“Wait.”
I stop from processing through the door. “Yeah?”
“How did it go?”
“How did it go?” I repeat her question.
“Your date, Bette.” She looks at me with a look of serious.
“It was great. We had a lovely dinner and then I took her to my gallery, upon request.”
“She wanted to see the gallery?”
“Yeah.” I nod with a smile. “Turns out she really likes art.”
“That is great, Bette.” I watch her reply a smile.
I finally make my exit through the door and make my way towards my vehicle. I stand there with my hand on the door handle as I think of Tina and I. The flashbacks that I brought back to life minutes before. I think of how far we’ve come and how much everything has changed. I give a small smile and proceed into my car with my thoughts.
….
“Are you sure you’re ready to introduce me to your friends?”
I smile as I turn my direction to Rachel. “Well, are you ready to meet them?”
“From what you have told me about them, they seem great. So your ex will also be there?”
I can hear the nervousness in her voice as she asks.
“Yes.” I nod. “But I sense some nervous actions happening.”
“Meeting your ex makes me nervous. I have no idea what to expect.”
“You have nothing to worry about.” I say while placing a new earring in my ear. “Everything will go great.”

Thanks for the update!
And thanks for the backflash. It was a mutual and wise decision they took, there should be love and laughter in the house, not the fighting all the time. But my Tibette heart is still sad.
I don’t understand why they decided that Tina stayed at home and stopped working. That didn’t work out the first time around when they tried for a baby.
They will always be their only true loves and Rachel and Danielle seems nice, but you promised that you are a Tibetter so i will sit out the ride back to each other.
5 stars from me!

Ok I’m all caught up now ready for the next chapter…I have a feeling they are going to slip if they where left alone in the right moment. Yes they fault before but Tina is back to work and Bette seems to have lots more time to Date take care of kids and money because now she is renting an apartment. so many things have changed since they split. thank you love the story,
