    Summary:
    The night continues....

    Kit gently nods. “I hear you…. what do you need from me right now?”

    Bette looks at her sister with a sad smile as her tears flow. “You just being here is enough….”

    Kit brings her sister into her arms and holds her tightly.

    They sit silently for a few beats as Bette allows herself to be comforted by her sister. She then reaches up, wipes away her tears, and sighs. “I wanna see Mickey; I know he’s wondering where I am by now, but the thought of having to see Michelle….”

    “Well, I can call her, be a go-between for you guys if you want….”

    Bette gently shakes her head. “I can’t ask you to do that….”

    “You didn’t ask. Things are still raw, but you’re right; you’re gonna have to see Mickey, so I’m happy to step in until things aren’t so tense between you two….”

    Bette takes a deep breath and nods.

    “When was the last time you ate something?” Kit asks.

    Bette gently shrugs. “I had like a half of a muffin this morning….”

    “Sounds about right…. I’m gonna get you a sandwich, and then I’ll give Michelle a call…she’s been calling me off and, on all day, looking for you….”

    Bette rolls her eyes as she lifts her head from Kit’s shoulder.

    Kit gives Bette a comforting pat on her knee as she stands up. “I’m gonna go put your order in and then call Michelle about you seeing Mickey….”

    Bette gives her sister an appreciative smile. “Thanks Kit….”

    “No problem….” Kit says. She smiles and winks at Bette before leaving the office…

    Bette takes a deep breath and runs her hand through her hair……

    About ten minutes later, Kit walks out of the kitchen after personally putting in Bette’s order. She is about to walk over to help a customer when she looks up and sees Michelle tentatively enter with Mickey in her arms and struggling with a duffle bag on her shoulder and Mickey’s diaper bag in her other hand.

    “Shit…” she says, glancing back toward her office before hurrying over to her sister-in-law. “Michelle, I was just about to call you… what are you doing here?”

    Michelle smiles sheepishly as she adjusts the strap of her duffle bag. “Sorry, I just uh….” Her voice trails off, and she shrugs as tears come to her eyes. “Have you heard from her?”

    2. Bette is actually being considerate of Michelle by allowing her to get a few things and her car. And of course, they agree that Mickey should remain in his home while his parents sort things out. Why is it that people who cheat believe they will never get caught? And once they do get caught, they have no plan on how they are going to provide the necessities of life like food, shelter and transportation? At least Michelle now has her car… next problem to solve is shelter.

    3. Thanks for posting! Not so sure Michelle really loves Bette so much. Why did she cheat then instead of opening up to her wife about her frustrations and her fears? Can’t wait to see how the talk went when Bette is ready to see Michelle.

    5. Bette is still too raw and hurt to deal with Michelle and her foolishness. She is full of regret because her azz got CAUGHT CHEATING!!! She’s not doing all that skinn’ and grinning now with her lil cute phone calls and text!!! I see she tried to worm her butt back into the house…Mickey is used to see us BOTH together. DON’T GIVE IN BETTE!!! Where the hell is AVA now… (hahahahaha) Glad Kit offered to be a go between for them with Mickey. Bette letting her get the car back was a blessing, I know it was done with Mickey in mind.
      I got NO PATIENCE for insecure azz Michelle!!!

      Tina and Kit are her biggest SUPPORT right now it seems. She is very vulnerable with them both. I’m glad Tina told her about seeing Michelle with another woman on her date night. Bette didn’t hold it against her, WHEW. Tina was in a sticky situation with that one…seeing your EX wife NEW WIFE on a date with someone else!!!

      I’m glad Tina and Bette are communicating better and are actually becoming FRIENDS.
