    The night continues....

    Kit sighs. “Chelly—”

    Mickey squirms out of Michelle’s arms and then smiles and points. “Mama!”

    Kit and Michelle turn and see Bette strolling into the dining area.

    Bette smiles as she stoops down and scoops Mickey into her arms. “Hey, sweetheart…” she quietly says, hugging her son tightly. “Did you have fun at Grandma and Grandpa’s?”

    Mickey nods. “Yes, I got new toys….”

    Bette gently laughs and playfully tickles Mickey’s stomach. “Of course, you did….”

    Michelle looks longingly at Bette. She gulps and takes a step forward, but Kit steps in her way.

    “Michelle, I don’t think now is the right time, honey….”

    Michelle keeps her eyes on Bette. “I just wanna talk to her…” she whispers.

    “She’s not ready for that yet, Michelle…I told you you’re gonna have to give her time…”

    “Easier said than done, Kit….” Michelle says, her eyes still on her wife and son.

    Kit sighs and watches as Michelle struggles to handle all her bags again. “Where are you staying?”

    Michelle finally drags her eyes away from Bette and looks at Kit. “Probably at my parents’ tonight…. after that, I’m not sure…. I’m still trying to figure out how I’m gonna get to work for the foreseeable future….I can’t keep taking Uber everywhere….”

    Bette slowly walks over to Kit and Michelle with Mickey still in her arms.

    Michelle gently smiles as tears once again cloud her eyes. “Hey….” She quietly says to Bette.

    Bette glares at Michelle for a beat before she speaks. “I’m gonna take him home. You can meet me at the house to get your car….” She says with her voice void of any emotions.

    Michelle sighs in relief and gently nods. “K, thank you….”

    A waitress walks over and hands Bette her takeout order.

    Bette takes the bag and gives the woman an appreciative smile. “Thank you…”

    “No problem…” The waitress says. She then gives Michelle a quick, hardened glare before she walks away.

    Bette adjusts Mickey in her arms as she looks at Kit. “I’ll call you later….”

    “Okay…”

    Bette looks at Michelle and nods toward Mickey’s diaper bag. “Bag…”

    “Oh, yeah…” Michelle says as she hands over Mickey’s bag. She then reaches out and rubs Mickey’s bag. “Mommy will see you a little later, honey…”

    1. Thank you for the new chapter. Tina and Bette act as close friends, even Tina is much closer than Alice, Shane, and Dana. I wonder if things will soon evolve in a romantic sense.

    2. Bette is actually being considerate of Michelle by allowing her to get a few things and her car. And of course, they agree that Mickey should remain in his home while his parents sort things out. Why is it that people who cheat believe they will never get caught? And once they do get caught, they have no plan on how they are going to provide the necessities of life like food, shelter and transportation? At least Michelle now has her car… next problem to solve is shelter.

    3. Thanks for posting! Not so sure Michelle really loves Bette so much. Why did she cheat then instead of opening up to her wife about her frustrations and her fears? Can’t wait to see how the talk went when Bette is ready to see Michelle.

    5. Bette is still too raw and hurt to deal with Michelle and her foolishness. She is full of regret because her azz got CAUGHT CHEATING!!! She’s not doing all that skinn’ and grinning now with her lil cute phone calls and text!!! I see she tried to worm her butt back into the house…Mickey is used to see us BOTH together. DON’T GIVE IN BETTE!!! Where the hell is AVA now… (hahahahaha) Glad Kit offered to be a go between for them with Mickey. Bette letting her get the car back was a blessing, I know it was done with Mickey in mind.
      I got NO PATIENCE for insecure azz Michelle!!!

      Tina and Kit are her biggest SUPPORT right now it seems. She is very vulnerable with them both. I’m glad Tina told her about seeing Michelle with another woman on her date night. Bette didn’t hold it against her, WHEW. Tina was in a sticky situation with that one…seeing your EX wife NEW WIFE on a date with someone else!!!

      I’m glad Tina and Bette are communicating better and are actually becoming FRIENDS.
