    The night continues....

    Mickey smiles and waves. “Bye Mommy…”

    Kit kisses her nephew’s forehead. “Auntie Kit will see you later….”

    Bette starts to walk away.

    Michelle takes an anxious step forward. “Um…wouldn’t it be easier if I just rode to the house with you guys?” She desperately asks.

    Bette stops and looks at Michelle. “Easier for whom?”

    Michelle gulps as she looks into Bette’s eyes, filled with anger. She takes a step back and drops her head.

    Bette walks past Michelle and walks out of the door.

    Michelle tries to hold in her tears but fails.

    Kit walks over to a nearby table, grabs a few napkins, and hands them to Michelle.

    “Thank you….” Michelle says as she accepts the napkins and dabs her face.

    Kit gently nods. “Listen, give me a few minutes, and I’ll take you to pick up the car….”

    Michelle nods as she wipes her eyes once again. “Thank you…” she whispers.

    Kit turns to walk away, and Michelle walks over and plops down in a chair at a nearby table……

    Adams Porter household…

    Later, Bette is in the living room watching Mickey play with his new toys. She gently laughs when her son rolls one of his trucks and then tries to race it across the room. She watches him do this for a few more minutes before she grabs her cell phone from the coffee table….

    Kennard Household…

    After dinner, Tina stands up, grabs her plate, and nods toward her daughter. “Bring your plate into the kitchen, honey…”

    Angie hops out of her seat, carefully picks up her plate, and follows Tina into the kitchen. “What’s for dessert?”

    Tina chuckles and shakes her head. “I think you and your Aunt Shane already took care of dessert, young lady…”

    Angie pouts.

    “Nice try, though….” Tina says as she playfully gently taps Angie’s nose.

     “Mommy?”

    “Yes, baby?”

    “Is Mama okay?”

    Tina puts her plate in the sink and then stoops in front of Angie. “Yes, your Mama just needed a little time to herself today, sweetie….”

    “Is she gonna pick me up from school tomorrow?”

    “Um…. I’m not sure, honey…”

    “But she always picks me up on Mondays…” Angie says with a pout.

    “I know, but—” Tina is interrupted by her phone buzzing across the island. She reaches over, grabs it, and smiles before quickly answering. “Hey…we were just talking about you…”

    1. Thank you for the new chapter. Tina and Bette act as close friends, even Tina is much closer than Alice, Shane, and Dana. I wonder if things will soon evolve in a romantic sense.

    2. Bette is actually being considerate of Michelle by allowing her to get a few things and her car. And of course, they agree that Mickey should remain in his home while his parents sort things out. Why is it that people who cheat believe they will never get caught? And once they do get caught, they have no plan on how they are going to provide the necessities of life like food, shelter and transportation? At least Michelle now has her car… next problem to solve is shelter.

    3. Thanks for posting! Not so sure Michelle really loves Bette so much. Why did she cheat then instead of opening up to her wife about her frustrations and her fears? Can’t wait to see how the talk went when Bette is ready to see Michelle.

    5. Bette is still too raw and hurt to deal with Michelle and her foolishness. She is full of regret because her azz got CAUGHT CHEATING!!! She’s not doing all that skinn’ and grinning now with her lil cute phone calls and text!!! I see she tried to worm her butt back into the house…Mickey is used to see us BOTH together. DON’T GIVE IN BETTE!!! Where the hell is AVA now… (hahahahaha) Glad Kit offered to be a go between for them with Mickey. Bette letting her get the car back was a blessing, I know it was done with Mickey in mind.
      I got NO PATIENCE for insecure azz Michelle!!!

      Tina and Kit are her biggest SUPPORT right now it seems. She is very vulnerable with them both. I’m glad Tina told her about seeing Michelle with another woman on her date night. Bette didn’t hold it against her, WHEW. Tina was in a sticky situation with that one…seeing your EX wife NEW WIFE on a date with someone else!!!

      I’m glad Tina and Bette are communicating better and are actually becoming FRIENDS.
