”Alright… okay… I’ve made a big.. big mistake” Came Kit’s short reply.
”No shit, really?… Kit… you can see a mile away that you look guilty of
something… now what you’ve done is what I’m interested in”
”Well I… I… might have called a… certain someone in New York to tell her about the wedding of another certain someone…” Kit looked like a lamb that’s about to get slaughtered.
Alice was in complete silence and her face was not revealing any trace of pretty much anything, not even blinking which got Kit even more worried.
”Al… Al… say something? Please?” Kit was begging all the Gods that the blonde standing in front of her would not start screaming, for Bette had entered The Planet and was scanning the place, clearly searching for her friends.
”ARE YOU FUC….” Alice started her sentence in a very loud tone of voice.
”Shhh lower your voice Al… Bette just entered the room and she just saw us!” Kit was sure she was gonna crawl to some hole and die, and that was if she somehow made it out of there alive.
”What the fuck!!!?” Alice exclaimed more than asked, almost whispering, as she turned around and spotted the other Porter who was then, luckily for them, talking on her cell phone.
”Look Alice, I know that what I did was wrong… but someone has to tell her… she has to know… if after that she still doesn’t come around… then fuck it… but we owe her… them… at least that last chance” Kit´s tone of voice and whole demeanour was one of hope mixed with a large amount of sadness.
”Kit… you know I feel the same way about those two, right?… but really… we’ve tried everything…. eveeerythiiinnnng… and the worst part is that if Bette hears about this… oh well… she gonna hang us both!” Of course the blonde was right, and deep down she actually agreed with her friend, but even she was convinced that it was about damn time they stopped trying.
”Who’s gonna hang you two and what for?” Came Bette’s voice behind Alice.
”Well hello younger Porter…” Alice was trying to sound as normal as possible. ”We were just commenting that… dear ol´Shane is gonna hang us if we don’t finish the arrangements for your upcoming bachelorette party…”
