    She will be loved

”Oh… okay then… why don’t you try her on her cell phone? I know she switches it on whenever she leaves the office…” Rachel offered her another alternative for she sensed that this was probably very important.

”Yeah… I´ll do that, thanks Rachel… talk to you soon and take care!” And right after that Alice disconnected the call.

Fuck! If she’s out of her office, then it’s bad… really bad… ok, here we go  again… you better pick up Kennard…

The phone rang several times so it was clear that Tina was debating with herself whether to take the call or not.

”Hi Al” She eventually decided to answer, for she knew Alice could be persistent.

”Hi TK… I…” Alice hesitated for a second since she didn’t really know where to start.

”You’ve talked to Kit” Tina´s voice was void of any emotion.

    ”Yeah… yeah… look Tina I…”

”You don’t have to say anything Alice, really…” Tina tried her best to release her friend of whatever obligation she thought she had.

”Well you know what… yes, yes I damn do Tina… I…” Alice made a pause searching for the right words in her head. ”I hate you for being so stupid, as much as I hate Bette for the same reason… but you, as well as Bette, are my friend too… so I can’t stay mad at you two for your own issues… and I really, really care about you TK”

”Who is she marrying Al?” Tina asked with her voice still empty of emotions, it seemed as if she had nothing else to give.

”What difference does that make?” Alice knew Tina was not gonna like the  answer to that question, so she tried her best to move the conversation onto  something else. Besides that was not the reason why she had called.

”Who?” Tina sounded like someone who was certainly not gonna drop the question.

”Well, why do you wanna know… I mean… you are not gonna come here and prevent that wedding from happening… are you?” Alice replied a bit annoyed and then Tina realized why Alice was being so cautious.

”It’s her… right? I mean… why else would you go around such a simple question so much… unless it was her” Tina was trying her very best not to sound aggravated at that moment.

    1. Really like this story. I think the premise of past and present on a collision course is very original. Love Kit‘s confession but find Alice to be incredibly annoying. Why oh why is it her God given right to interfere with everyone’s life? So now we TiBetters have a new nemesis and her name is Julia. Get it together Tina. Great story.

Can I ask a question – if Tina has been an executive producer in the movie industry for 4 years – how old are they in the past? Must be further along in college than freshman for Tina to have had her job for so long – 1996 to 2002. Six years. Four years of college. Maybe I missed this.

    2. I think we need to find out a little more about the non-relationship of Bette and Tina before we get out the get on the anti-Julia band wagon. Bette and Tina are our chosen couple, But let’s see what she’s all about before we make her walk the plank.

This is actually a very intriguing story. Theses are definitely not the characters presented in TLW. Ready for more…

Oh, and I think Alice is acting just like Alice. Had Kit not looked like she just ran over someone’s dog, Alice would have never asked anything… Kit in her way wanted to tell her so she would have someone to commiserate with. And I think it was what Alice should do was to call her and evidently bring her attention to the reason why Bette is about to be married to Julia. I just wish Kit had had the nerve to talk to Tina instead of telling her the news and then chickening out with the “I’ve made a terrible mistake” crap.

I am liking this story, bunches…
