Bette: “hmm…, yeah…, but at least my family won’t be worried every day wondering if I’ll come back home in one piece”
Tasha: “well…, here is the thing, I don’t have a family, just my orphan niece, who lives with me, and is at my other sister’s house while I work…, she doesn’t have the age of worrying about me”
Bette: “so…, you are not married”
Tasha: “nope”
Bette: “any boyfriend?”
Tasha: “I’m lesbian, Bette”
Bette: “well…, I know what it is…”
Both women laugh, but at this point, Tasha was pondering, what Bette wants to tell her? and Bette was sweetening her petition before asking her. But Tasha wants to speak things openly.
Tasha: “Bette…, why don’t you tell me what you want”
Bette: (sweating) “look, Tasha, what I’m going to ask you is very important to me…, after going to my house in Hartford, I need to go to New Haven, I have to pick up something from the Institute there”
Tasha: “why you didn’t tell Jane?”
Bette: “she won’t approve”
Tasha: “is it something illegal?”
Bette: “course not”
Tasha: “okay, just tell me what it is”
Bette: “it’s a vial from the sperm bank in the institute”
Tasha: “explain”
Bette: “Tina and I want to start a family; we thought on picking that vial with my dead brother’s sperm after the wedding, but I don’t think we’ll have the opportunity later…, so I decided it has to be today…”
Tasha: (looking at the rearview mirror of the car) “Bette, Jane doesn’t know, she will hang me from the mainmast if she found out”
Bette: “she doesn’t have to know”
Tasha: (keep looking at the mirror) “it’s going to be a long way…, look we could make a deal, I’ll drive you there and you keep me entertained telling me Alice and Dana’s story”
Bette: “sure, we have a deal”
At this time they have already driven for around 30 minutes and they were close to Framingham, the town where Tina’s house is located, still more than one hour from Bette’s house, Bette has noticed the worry on Tasha’s eyes, looking through the mirror, so she looked back and saw a dark van a little far behind them.
Bette: “that van…”
Tasha: “I know…, I’m going to let them pass…”

As promised i finally had the time to read your update.
I should have remembered that the guys would take the wrong “girlfriend”. But you always give us so much information it slipped my mind, forgive me.
The girls are getting closer to the solution and when they do i hope all those bastards get what they deserve.
I really loved to read how Alice and Dana became a couple, i hope they will be reunited soon.
Bette took a risk to not inform Tina what her plan was but she was forgiven quickly when she told her she picked up the sample. I hope it took.
