    Tina: “no please, babe, don’t make a fuss for something like that, he is out of place.”

    At this point, Bette was furious; she can’t understand why Tina isn’t as angry as she is. 

    Bette: “Tina…, it doesn’t bother you what he is doing to me… to us?”

    Tina: “of course it’s bothering me, but it’s not worthy to fight for nothing…”

    Bette: “I’m not fighting…”

    Alice: “girls… girls, calm down, Bette, please…, Tina is right”

    Tina: “no, Alice…, Bette has a point…, babe, we’ll talk about that later and we’ll find a solution.”

    Bette was silent, she let Tina hold her hand and meekly ate her food…, yes, she may have the leading role when their  relationship began, then, she was probably the stronger one, the one who helped  Tina to break the walls around herself, but now things have changed, Tina is taking care of herself, she is a little more confident, more feminine, more talkative, and others have also noticed that; the last time they went to a lesbian bar, a couple of girls tried to hit on her girlfriend while she was buying the drinks, in class some boys were eager to talk to her and even Frankie had already asked Bette if her relation with Tina was really serious, because she found the blonde very attractive. Bette tried to control her jealousy and anger, she craves for Tina, she wants to be the only one for her, and perhaps Tina is right, the letter of Eric to the on-campus housing has backfired and now she, Bette, would have Tina day and night just for herself.

    After lunch Tina hurried Bette to move their stuff to the new apartment, they went first to Bette’s bedroom and took the remaining few items, then they went to Tina’s and packed the bedclothes and few other stuff.

    Bette: “baby we have collected everything from my bedroom, do you still have things in the kitchen or living room?”

        Yes, I’m going step by step, but I have made the commitment to getting well.
        I have also made a commitment with myself of never leave a story unfinished, so I will finish this (as painful it is for me) before I post the new one.
