Through the glass of the other building; with horror on her face Carmen observed the same scene, while Alex took her phone to make a call.

Alex: “Oliv, who is the officer down?”

Outside in the parking lot ten minutes ago, a group of undercover detectives hidden behind big dumpers was waiting for the events to develop. Two girls were talking in a side.

Kelly: “what’s up Jenny?”

Jenny: “Kelly…, you know that Marina and I are girlfriends, right?”

Kelly: “I heard about that…, why?”

Jenny: “well, she and I know each other for a long time, and we want to make it work”

Kelly; “good for you”

Jenny: “I know about her past and she knows about mine, there are no secrets between us”

Kelly: “oh…, that is very good…”

At that moment a black van approached them at high speed, dropping off six men who took them.

Kelly: “hey, what’s this…?”

Jenny: “what the fuck…!”

And from behind the dumpers, three detectives run toward the group.

Elliot: “halt!!! NYPD, leave the ladies and surrender”

The captors panicked and two of them draw their guns and fired, while the others dragged Jenny and Kelly inside the van. Fin, Olivia, and Elliot shot at them, a suspect fell on the ground and two, who were slightly wounded jumped into the vehicle which speeded up, abandoning the wounded goon.

Sirens were heard everywhere and soon an ambulance arrived. Fin, the detective was wounded on his leg, and the hemorrhage has been contained; but the wounded suspect, who was initially crying, is now unconscious, and profusely bleeding from his abdomen, the paramedics took both to the hospital.

Inside of the first building, Alex ran to the first floor and then to the door, and Carmen found Shane almost crying looking for her.

Shane: “Car…, I thought they took you?”

Carmen: “I’m fine, but they took Kelly and Jenny…, how did you know?”

Shane: “Tina called to warn us…, baby…, you said they took Jenny?”

Carmen: “yes, I saw through the glass wall”

Marina: (approaching unaware of her missing girlfriend) “what did you see?”

They told Marina what had happened to Jenny, the American-Italian was devastated. The detectives came to ask questions. Why the assailants took Jenny? Reviewing the facts and the clothes, they were amazed, the goons took Jenny by mistake, thinking, she was Carmen, same clothes, same hairdo, even same height.
